100% accurate ours wasnt curing down 1 heating element, HP swapped elements circuit boards you name it. In the end a damn good clean inside the chamber fixed it.
You can adjust your profile on the fly whilst printing but we use a backlit profile which throws down a ton load of ink and run our...
Cannot outsource this kind of work unless you have a very good relationship with your supplier. The nature of MX graphics is one of many single panel reprints, either because the customer has fitted it wrong, made a mistake thinking his plastics were a certain year when they were another...
For this kind of work no other blade can do it, it will fix your problem straight away.
Tool is in the perf cutting position.
You need to have those blades, on the cutter set the perf length to 20mm normal cut to 1mm speed no more than 10cm per second or you will snap the tip of the blade...
Reg marks are way too close to the edge of the media, lose a row of stickers print again and centre the print.
You say it scoots about halfway across when trying to read the second mark and looks for it in the middle of the sheet. It seems like that would be the distance between crop marks if...
Perf cut 2 passes on same cutter same material once you find the settings you are golden just pop them out.
CB15UA-K30-5 blades are a MUST for this work. They are expensive but they do the job and last.
we perf cut on 22mil laminated film it is a fine line between cutting perfectly and not cutting at all. Sometimes when the wind changes direction we cant get anything to cut properley. i really wouldnt think it is mechanical, when you changed the cut strip if there is the tiniest bit of adhesive...
For a simple start up i would go Roland. I have a HP Latex and a CJV 130. The CJV is a good machine but the learning curve is larger than the Rolands. We started our business with a Roland and you can pick up one in perfect condition pretty reasonably priced just about anywhere.
Set your artboard up to the width of your media (however long you can handle) make 3 or 4 files with the same width media if needed. You should already have your cut files in place to make it easier since i presume you will be laminating that work. Send to flexi as an eps, PDF's can be...
Hi thanks.
Everything like belts seem fine
Nothing appears to be slipping
Free movement
No noises or indication before stopping.
Printer is 7 years old and has performed like a beast barely stopping in that time so i guess i had a pretty good run.
Had a latex installed 2 weeks ago but having...
I have a similar problem, Printer simply stopped halfway through a job.
Scan motor error 0010
Tried cleaning, looking for obvious errors but found none.
When i turn on the printer noting moves.
It says processing then just comes up with the error.
Hi thanks, looking for the best priced entry level cutter that will service our needs. Is the Colex suitable for what we need and what type of price level are we looking at for that?
A Zund is a little above our price range and maybe a bit overkill for what we need could anybody recommend an alternative?
Also we are a bit pushed for space, like i said earlier most of our prints are around 635mm x 1000mm
Saw this earlier...
We manufacture motocross decals so for instance we have 3 number plates on a job.
When i say weed automatically i mean die cut the job so that we can take waste off the cutter and be left with the 3 number plates rather than what we are doing now which is weeding unwanted product and trimming...
Only fix i found for this is to do a complete re install of versaworks.
This happened to me again on a completely different laptop about 12 months after i fixed it and i had to re install again.
2nd time this has happened to me now.
Hi guys thanks for taking the time to read.
I am a bit stuck at the moment.
We currently print on a Roland VP 300 and cut out on a Roland GX 300.
However business is getting busy to the stage where we just cannot keep up with the finishing.
At the moment we have a major bottleneck at the...
