A stroke in illustrator is what flexi will use to determine the cut path so you have fills and strokes but have a specific spot colour name for the stroke like "CutContour". Not sure what they are called in Corel, but yeah i presume it works the same way.

Second what Ikarasu said. But with transparancies the job will cut one way then cut along the same path going in the opposite direction. Make sure the cut files are actual strokes with one path, it doesnt matter the thickness of the stroke because the rip will cut directly in the centre. Check...

Have you tried to just print / laminate / cut 1 single row? We print up to 2 metres (6 & a half feet) laminate with a thick laminate so the material is 22 mil, we run 2 perf cut passes and its perfect every time on the 2nd pass, may be a little bit off on the accuacy of where it actually starts...

We use a Mimaki CJV150, create two special plates 100% white (valid pixel) any text you want extra white colour it a cmyk colour not in your design and change that in the rip to print 100% white. This way you get 3 hits of white which makes it pretty good :-)

Problem is when i am using other colours they all overprint twice so double hit on the cmyk as well, and running colours at 50% had them looking washed out even with the double hit. Hi i am having a few issues getting the white to print opaque on the mimaki CJV 150 I am using the spot colour white swatch and laying down a special valid pixel plate. The profile is PVC white translucent 2 pass. Any ideas? Steve

We run the backlit profiles on 130% to get a really decent amount of ink down, but its horses for courses as we only really do solid colours.

You can edit the profile from the printers panel, select the profile / modify / click the little pencil, run test plot and select desired changes, or you can "add new print mode" to that profile without running a test plot but be sure you change to the new mode in flexi.
