It is a Heidelberg GTO i learned to print on one of those, absolute tanks. Probably the only thing they are used for these days is NCR because they have numbering units that can be attached to them.

What is the surface of the print film like? Does it have craters in it that the laminate cant adhere to?

It does reuire some knowledge of functions to adjust, the manual is somewhat broken English but its not hard to figure out and it is a great machine, playing around with it you should be able to achieve this no dramas.

I upgraded our Flexi software to SP 5 3P Build number 3123. Ever since the upgrade the job names do not show up. The Job name tab is there but the coloumn is blank. Any thoughts?

Get a flatbed for that kind of work, at the very least a stand alone plotter with tables either side to keep the media flat.

We had this problem when trialing a new media. The liner was kind of plastic / wax on the back and the HP had trouble advancing it through its mechanism. We tried everything to get it to work but to no avail.

I would presume it is given to customers in sheet form for them to cut and apply to the decal kit post instal. Some riders are very hard on the graphics depending on their style of riding. For instance they may grip the bike with their knees more than others causing that area to rub through...

We have it running on 4 PC's. Only when one crashes or is shut down and we have to sign in again we have to deactivate it on one of the others but that stays running until illustrator crashes or is shut down then we have to deactivate one. Infinity. Not really a big deal.

If it is not completely out you still have about 100m from the time it goes on reserve. My question would be if it runs out completely and i cant get one for say a week or so does this mean that there is zero cleaning in the interim?

Summa is garbage for this line of work even with additional pinch rollers, we ended up being refunded for our ST after it ruined about 4k worth of material. Not many people on here have "real life experience" of cutting this stuff and will tell you its a great cutter but bottom line is it doesnt...

You bought the wrong cutter for the job. We ended up having to get a refund for our Summa ST cutting the exact same stuff. People will tell you otherwise but there you go.

Get blender (free) and watch some you tube tutorials, once you get the hang of it that hood could be done in about 5 mins. And you will also have a new skill.
