Not so screwed anymore! Ok, maybe I'm not so screwed anymore. I spent a lot of time on it today and found that the problem came from dragging an open corel 7 drawing to corel 13 open page and trying to send that to Cutting Master. I have to save it as an ai file. Then, I open that ai file in...

  8. Weeding tips anyone?

Thanks for saying it. I've not asked a question several times because I didn't want to incur the wrath. I've been in the business 17 years and I like to help others get started. That's what its all about, passing along what we have learned from those before us, not humiliating people for...

  11. A little help getting started, please.

I got the language right. Believe it or not, I read the entire manual over Christmas that came with the plotter. I now have the Cutting Master installed and am working with it. My problem....the page on my layout screen in cutting master does not coincide with the plotter, meaning, a word to...
  12. A little help getting started, please.

Actually, you can cut right from Corel, but, you are limited in size to just a little bit bigger that 8.5 x 11, or page size. I experimented and found if I got copy much larger than the layout page it just wouldn't cut. Great idea though.

  16. Red top blade holder/60° blade advice?

Home made media basket??? I'd be interested in knowing about that if you find it. Can't cough up $400.00 for that little device. I just ordered a graphtec CE5000.
  17. Which Graphtec to buy?

I've heard you can't cut anything over 10ml with the ce5000-60 or its hard on the motor. Do you find that to be so? I don't know and haven't been able to find what 10 ml mask is, I use Hartco and Avery but find no indication of the ml thickness on the box. I guess you slow the speed down??
