Our 54" plotter is malfunctioning, but it's going to be at least 3 weeks before the replacement comes. In the meantime, I was thinking about using the rotate function in Onyx v. 12 Cut-Server to be able to use our 30" Graphtec plotter while we wait. I can rotate the job, it shows me the feed...

A building window is easier because it's flat. Harder because it's big. Since window tint companies are a dime a dozen, I'd pass.

Also make sure output color is native.

Just don't have it convert spot colors. When it converts, it loses the name needed for the RIP software to recognize it's the cut line.

The folder doesn't have to be hot. (Hot meaning a file dropped into it is automatically processed). Just shared is enough. When you export the print/cut file from your design software, save it into the shared folder. Then from the RIP workstation, open the file into the RIP (Onyx in this case)...

We use a walkboard like that and ladders to do the sides of box trucks and semis. We use it on some other installation jobs like putting Gemini letters up on inside walls of stores and offices. Definitely not a one-time use item.

We use high tack vinyl made for LSE surfaces on inflatable boats. (Took me a minute to figure out what a RIB boat was. We just call them inflatables)

Use 3M 1170 overlay. But if you do use both reflectives, think about what a green or blue reflective street sign or highway sign looks like with reflective white letters on it.
