Thanks guys. I thought so. Im working with a real old timer on this one. He doesnt like technology. There are 5 huge walls and the first pounce for the first wall looks like it will take ten times longer than anticipated. I see the 99.00 dollar pounce tool. Its a different blade I guess.

We are looking at doing a massive amount of pouncing and doing it the old school manually is looking like it will take forever. Is there a machine. plotter vinyl cutter etc that would do the pounce pattern on pounce paper 4 feet width if we had it in a .AI file and or eps.

What does everyone do with their vinyl cut-offs? I have a collection of 4" to 10" rolls now. I know they're probably garbage. Anywhere to donate them I wonder?

Yeah thats what I do reverse stencil, paint mask, when you have to cut it out its almost like painting the outline.

Just an added note the file is ok in the ai format. I was just wondering why this is happening. I had this other file ( totallydiff firm this ) that I couldnt select some of the vector lines and couldnt figure out why. Again I figured some other work around. I might post that and see what...

Sorry I meant paint mask vinyl. I dont see much difference in 5yr vs paint mask in the peeling/stencil aspect, big diff in tackiness from the glue but that's it. Yeah I figured thats the answers I'd get. You know theres an art in cutting it out I use one of the artist style exacto's. Oh well.

That was the eps file. I asked him to send me the ai files and the ai file doesnt show the lines? Illustrator/vector stuff seems to have so many variables. There is no gradient it just two solid colors.

I got this file and when I open it in great cut this is what I get what is all the perspective lines. The guy who has given me the file doesn't even know what it is. Why did I spend so much time with photoshop? and not with illustrator I'm paying for that now.
