Could be a corrupt file or something in Flexi doing it. Just because it's worked many times doesn't mean it will keep working.
Flexi does not like any clutter in Production Manager. Flexi also does not like multiple files being open.
Clean out the print and cut ques then shut PM down...
Polyurethane, brush or roll on. Not a fan of the water base stuff but that's just me. If your company has a paint shop have the boys hose it with two part urethane clear.
I would calculate the fine details such as electricity, print heads etc.. Use that data to either do a per hour or average yearly cost divided by estimated jobs per year.
For my TIG welding I got granular and was shocked that it cost 21 bucks an hour when welding. That covers electricity...
To the OP, make sure you have good insurance. Stuff hanging off buildings plus electricity is no joke. Like Gino said tons of codes, regulations etc... and they will change from town to town.
Got it. I posted in another thread about using a digital stopwatch to get exact times for everything from travel, to set up, printing etc...
Beats guessing or looking at the clock.
Close all programs then shut off your computer and take a coffee break.
After your break turn on the computer and start by emptying the trash then do a complete system scan for viruses and do a disk defrag.
After those tasks are complete Flexi should start.
Once it does delete everything...
Any good cast vinyl(we use Arlon), no lam, then bury in automotive high solids clear coat. It was a client request for his dump trucks, and I'll be dipped it works fantastic. He gets a high quality job and doesn't have to worry when Johnny trucker pressure washes the truck at the end of the day.
Yeah, just like the client that sends a sub par file. I tell them I can fix it, then they ask how much. I say it's a hundred bucks first click than shop rate after that. Then miracle of miracles a high res TIFF file shows up.
No CNC but for a long long time I used a digital stopwatch. It was because I thought I was losing money on certain jobs.
As soon as I turned on the computer the stopwatch was activated. When the job was complete it got shut off and time noted in a spreadsheet.
Remote jobs with travel are the...
Take it how you want but you must admit it was an odd question. Like notarealsignguy said, templates are okay for wraps not accurate for small bits.
Only way you're going to be perfectly accurate is to make your own template. I start with a good photo and measurements, make a quick print and...
Same here.
Thankfully I have keys to the lab.
X-Rite targets printed yesterday, will go to campus and measure hopefully today. Doing it all through X-Rite, no Flexi "wizard".
Maybe it's the overabundance of people making posts that are quite vague added to the ones looking for a quick fix. How do I know what you want something to look like or what the original file looked like?
