I'm not sure, but the 570 may have come out after version 12 was retired. If it's not inprinter driver download list you may be out of luck and need to upgrade
Good luck
What's the nozzle test print look like? Did you use a flashlight when cleaning the heads? That's often caused by fibers stuck to the bottom of the printheads.
Good luck
If it's physically jamming, the limit position isn't the issue. Start taking off covers and see if you can see anything obvious. Next, I would separate the cut carriage from the print carriage and try the sliding test. If the problem is gone, you have an issue with the print carriage...
I think you're request is a little contradictory - you want a cheap cutter that works well. You'll fight yourself with those constraints. You'll always do well going with a Graphtec or Summa. They're the top brands. They both make an entry level version and a Pro version. If the Pro version...
Roland profiles can't compensate for third party inks either. I wouldn't be looking at an electrical issue. Like Netsol says, this is probably ink delivery. Anytime someone complains about color or banding or other print issues, I always start at the PRINTHEAD. What does the nozzle test look...
I got called for a laminator service recently on a model that I wasn't familiar with. It was dead, so I started at the outlet and traced the power. The 3rd item in line after the power entry module and fuse was (you guessed it) a safety switch. I turned it and the laminator came to life. I...
By double checking the cables, I mean to pull them out and inspect all of the contacts on both ends and replace them making sure that they're inserted fully, and straight. This would be difficult to do in the minute that passed between your post and my first post. If you mean you've done it...
It looks like an electrical issue. I'd double check your cables again. Not just the head cables, but the cables from the carriage to the main board as well.
Good Luck
What's the humidity in your shop? I see a fair amount of overspray on the edges of the cyan print. This always tells me that static may be a culprit. You should be in the range of 40 - 60%. The closer to 50% the better.
The missing nozzle in light cyan probably isn't coming into play on that...
It sounds like the carriage home sensor is dirty or defective. Finding the limit is identifying where the flag leaves the sensor and where that is in relationship to the capping position. If it moves farther than expected (or more accurately if the printer thinks the motor has turned more than...
I'd stick with Graphtec or Summa. You can't loose with either of those. Decide if you need top of the line or if their lower level cutters still outshine most other brands.
Good luck
I just replaced one. Got the part from Airmark. It comes in a kit with a new switch and the part that pressed on the switch. Give Phil a call.
Good luck
