in addition to the more comprehensive solutions Fred indicated, you may wish to compare results by trying some other foils. Let's just say it was black & white colors, printed on clear... and the black foil was a brand new 50yard foil, with nothing used yet, but the white foil was a 50yard foil...

Gerber printed this 15 passenger van I did on their site. It was over 10 years ago before i brought in an inkjet. For "bits and pieces, I don't see why not, but for a full "wrap" I would never do it again, because it wasn't cost effective, based on material cost or labor... but it worked...

are you planning to use it for both drilling to manually insert braille dots/beads, as well as using a 2 part applique (tactile letter color) adhered to a base substrate (background color) and cutting through applique to weed for raised letters & pictograms/logos? I've used engravers for this...

it's been so long since I had to set up the software to recognize my devices on their respective ports... and I'm no wizard at that sort of thing... so I just thought I should go see what port names are selected for the devices currently. There is only one parallel port, and two serial ports...
