What are these worth? The neon ink looks interesting!
  2. I'm looking for some red, blue and holographic chrome vinyl

Does this material have edge curl issues when cutting through full bleed graphics?
  3. Need Help EPSON 80600 ICC color

There's an Epson Wide Gamut input profile available which apparently helps. I'm sure someone with more colour experience can chime in to provide more details.
  4. Need Help Die-cutting labels and stickers

The cut alignment on that drummer is setting off my OCD
  5. Roland Tech service quote $$ Are you serious?? $$

Did you have him stay and sweep the floors for the other 45 minutes? :big laugh:
  6. Need Help Graphtec FC8600 - Cross Cut Blade Not Engaging

Our beloved FC8600 has been having an issue ever since we purchased it 2 years ago; every now and then as the carriage moves to the left to engage to cross cut blade it doesn't travel far enough to toggle the internal mechanism. As a result, the carriage then begins to attempt the cross cut by...
  7. Die cutting on FC9000

Our FC8600 can perf cut about 1,000 4 inch circles an hour.
  8. Epson SC80600L or Roland VG2-640

How many rolls a week are you printing? There's some maths involved figuring out whether the bulk ink version of the 80600 is worth the extra upfront cost.
  9. Need Help Purchasing a sticker machine

Curious what the pricing on a setup like that with a finisher costs here, we're in the same boat. The idea of dropping another $30-40k is off-putting though when there's so many places lowballing roll labels.
  10. Protesters swarm to Capitol, halt session on Biden victory

You're already paying far more to the private sector than what these programs would cost. No person in any first world country should have the possibility of going bankrupt just because they get sick.
  11. Protesters swarm to Capitol, halt session on Biden victory

Oh no, better watch out for that terrible universal healthcare and low cost college educations! This entire thread is a perfect example of why the rest of the world is looking on in disbelief at the moment...
  12. How to perf cut on a Roland Camm-1 Servo GX-24

Yes just have more blade sticking out of the holder. Doing two passes can also help, but because the GX-24 doesn't natively support perf cutting there won't be any tabs to hold in the cut pieces. The extra media movement of cutting in two passes could cause issues. What you want to do if...
  13. How to perf cut on a Roland Camm-1 Servo GX-24

From memory the GX-24 doesn't support perf cutting as a separate cut mode. You could up the blade extension and downforce until you're cutting all the way through but not sure how effective that would be.
  14. Graphtec Cross Cut Blade

We're looking for the actual blade rather than the whole assembly. We can see it's made by NT Cutter just can't find a model that matches. Really hoping to be able to bulk buy these instead of swapping out the entire thing. We're just cutting regular vinyl, but we do between 50 and 100 cross...
  15. Graphtec Cross Cut Blade

Does anybody know what model of NT Cutter blade goes into the FC-8600 cross cut mechanism? We've tried a BC-1P however it's about 1/16" too short and doesn't cut the sheet properly. Looking to buy the blades in bulk rather than replacing the entire cross cut assembly as we go through them so...
  16. Covid silver bullet? BS?

.....I don't think you know what those words actually mean. This right here is why the rest of the world is looking at the US right now in disbelief.
  17. Print/Cut solutions Mutoh Mimaki or Roland

Don't forget about Epson and their S40/S60/S80 range when combined with a Graphtec or Summa.
  18. Rant Seriously Kidz?

    Ok boomer
  19. FC8600 - Service Contract?

Seems spot on. When I pushed for information over the phone all they could tell me was it covered "parts and labour". I've got it all cancelled now thankfully.
  20. FC8600 - Service Contract?

I have a strong suspicion it's the same supplier haha ... Definitely a bit of a slimey sales tactic.
