  1. Fuji Acuity Advanced Select Ink Set - KA Users?

KI/KA inks. UV inks after printing hasn't full resistance, you have to wait at least 24 hrs to get proper resistance (but some chemical reactions in the ink layer will take part up to few weeks after the printing). Try to discuss the problem with local Fuji support team. The KA gamut? I could...
  2. Fuji Acuity Advanced Select Ink Set - KA Users?

KI/KA inks. What kind of materials you have tested? Have you tried primers? KA inks have better adhesion to rigid plastic substrates, higher scratch resistance and are less affected by fingerprints on the substrate, but... The gamut is smaller, colours are weaker (especially red) and finish is...
  3. Printing sharp text - OCE Arizona 350 GT

Arizona 350GT High Definition mode is available since Arizona 360, so on your 350 you may not be able to get similar quality of details. Try to print in Fine Art unidirectionally, that may improve text and lines, but in 480 printheads are slightly different (in fact in 350 you have two...
  4. Humidity problems in flatbed

More questions. Which model of the printer you have? Which inkset do you use? KI, KO, KA? Do you have white ink? What are the temperatures in cyan printheads (it may be checked from the SDS menu, so probably you need a technician)? And generally - what does 'Cyan is not gettting printed to our...
  5. Humidity problems in flatbed

Cyan. What exactly is the problem? Why do you think it's caused by humidity?
  6. Who makes the "best" UV flatbeds?

Two remarks. Fujifilm doesn't make the Acuity printers, just sells them (they're being produced by Oce/Canon). And where are the Inca machines (Spyders and Onsets)? I know it's slighty different price level, but they're damn good anyway.
  7. Océ Inks - Where to buy?

Inks for Arizona. Do you mean '4-5 weeks after expiry date'? If yes, it may be dangerous for the printheads - one printhead costs much more than 4 bags of ink. For me it's too risky. Printer's firmware should allow to use ink a month after expiration date, then blocks the ink system.
  8. Océ Inks - Where to buy?

Inks for Arizona. Inks are distributed by Canon, but produced by Fujifilm. Fujifilm sells same inks for Acuity printers, but it's not possible to switch between them without tricks.
  9. Oce Arizona

Arizona with Caldera RIP. Fujifilm sells Acuity Advance Select (it's the same printer) and Caldera should be available there. For sure Caldera's driver for Acuity exists and works fine.
  10. Printing on veneers

Printing on veneer. It's possible, that the source of the bend is the temperature under the UV lamps. Few possible solutions: Switch on full carriage travel. Try to reduce the UV lamp power as low as possible to have the inks cured. Try to print unidirectional. Try to switch on option...
