$3-5 on a vehicle? wow. how much do they charge the customer? i do a vehicles for $2! I did a sprinter last week. It was like 325sf.
the guy who hired my would have flip out if I tell him I want $1200 for the install.
A full sprinter wrap usually goes for like 2400-2600 top. They would never...
I try! It just pisses me off that anyone in the auto industry opening up wrap shops because it's trendy. I know a guy who owns a tire shop! Now he opened a wrap shop because so many of his customers were asking about wraps. I am telling you there is a new wrap shop every single month :/
If you say so... It looks freaking clear to me.
You can see individual leafs on the palm.

8914? they don't even sell that in usa, never even heard about that.
Really don't want to be a dick but people in south florida opening up sign shops like it was just another mcdonalds or a barber shop. Every month I see another facebook post or instagram post about someone opening another shop around me. I am going, to be honest: It pisses me off. Everyone...
if you do text CURVE it! i have done gazillion of window perf and i curve them all and they look perfect. The only problem is if you put the text off center because besides curving you also need to tilt it. It's easy to mess it up. Every single time i see a really curvy window wrapped by...
Just saw this window perf today. this is what the froggy juice does exactly. dirty lines
I don't use them no more since i got my own shop but when i used it we waited till it dries but the dirt builds up in weeks anyway.

You need to use optically clear vinyl that has "plastic" liner (not paper)
like 3m 8518 or avery 1360z
I would not use knifeless tape to do butt seam on perf. unless if you have the chrome -ppf tape that has metal filament in it.
import the file again in to versacamm(?)
worse case you need to re initialize the software ( it will delete every info. every file from versacamm. so you will have to do a full setup including typing in your printers IP number)
If you have more of this get a new cat5 cable.
8518 is murky???? 8518 is just as clear as 1360z (avery)
8518 is a cast material with synthetic liner. It is clear.
8508 is a calendered lam with paper liner and it is murcy.
there is NOTHING wrong with 8518. you can perfectly see through it
look at these pictures. attaching an inside view and...
save the job then reimport and save it in a different job again. Just make sure you do not touch the original file. if you open the file and save it again the time and date of creation of the file would be different and the saved job will be corrupt. This messed me up sooooo bad.
can you take a picture of the rollers for me? a decent up close sharp picture please.(rollers meaning the stuff that pulls the material while it prints)
froggyjuice didn't work out for us. the perf always got SUPER dirty if we used froggy juice. You can't even clean it with soapy water.
Lamination is the way to go. I always use 3m or avery cast lam. (3m 8518 or avery 1360z)
of course it will mess you up around the rivet. there is no air release on the chrome? Usually when i do chrome with no air release I just laminate it on top another vinyl with air release and then cut it. Its easy to lay it after plus to take it off is a MILLION times easier and faster
Not sure what is the exact explanation. The foodtruck company who always asks me to wrap their trucks started to build a metal box for the tanks. I can fully wrap the box and nothing goes on the tank. Might wanna email some propane gas filling companies. Might tell you something smart. By the...
yes. and it takes 11 cpu hours to create a single frame So I am pretty sure you don't need a $600 gpu to fool around with vector files
nvidia quadro 5000 costs $200
