  2. Taxes when selling to fleet leasing service..?

Don't know about your state, but in Missouri, the vehicle to be leased is exempt from sales tax, but not things the leasing company buys for its own use. We pay sales tax on vehicles at the Department of Revenue, not the seller, so it is very easy to deal with. The only sales tax exemption is...

  5. First time acrylic letter install

For that installation you could go all pad if they don't want holes in their vinyl siding. It's annoying because you have to adjust the lengths of all the pads to account for the different positions on the siding, and the siding is angled, not flat. You're depending on the silicone to fill the...
  6. Furniture Transfers

Dry transfer or rub-on transfer. Like the Letraset rub on lettering we used to use for layout back in the day. The do-it-yourself area is full of vendors selling the transfer paper. You can even buy it at Staples. You print with regular desktop inkjet or laser printer (some brands don't work...

The initial low ink warning is to tell you to buy the replacement cartridge so you have it ready for when the ink runs out.
  8. Cut Vinyl vs Printed Vinyl...

Wow. If I only sold a minimum of 10 18x24 signs, that would cut out a lot of customers who just need one or two signs.

I think you have misinterpreted. The struggle the OP has is getting someone else to make his wraps. Thus the desire to look into making them himself.
  11. Cut Vinyl vs Printed Vinyl...

I think saying that printing takes less time than doing cut vinyl means you're not in practice for weeding and applying vinyl. Or maybe you're making your coroplast signs too complicated with too many words and the wrong fonts. Using the fonts supplied by Sign Wizard, which have their vectors...

Couple of things to try. First, look at the error message about the missing font. It may name the font. Second, copy the Windows fonts folder from the old computer into your new computer, or to an intermediate medium, then selectively install them on the new computer.

  17. Question Artwork ownership

I always ask for the customer to send me pics that I can put on our fb page. Usually they are proud to have their bike featured on our page. Kind of like the statement about vampires invited into your home from Lost Boys. On the other hand, if they made the fb post shareable and you shared it...
  18. Discussion Think Tank for sign makers. I wonder if there might be any interest. I am open for discussion.

Who would fund this think tank, and who is the intended consumer to which it would report?
  19. American Wreckers

Happened to see a commercial on TV for a show on History Channel that we did some work for. It's called American Wreckers. About demolition derby. We did decals that are featured on the cars, which divide the cars into teams and name the drivers. Not our design, but the TV production company...
  20. Discussion The Covid Money

Took the PPP. All forgivable. They still haven't finalized the forgiveness application process though. Took a small EIDL. It's just a regular SBA loan. Payments deferred a year, 30 yr payback, 3% annual interest.
