  1. How do I destroy this sign?

Don't put the brick and concrete in Gino's dumpster. Put it in his customer's dumpster when he drops it off the night before a lettering job so it's not late.
  2. Dishwasher safe decals for glass carafes

Actually for glass carafes it would be this one. However it does have to be kiln fired after application. https://decalsolutionsinc.com/ProductPages/WaterSlideDecals/GlassDecals.php
  3. drywall primer paint and topcoat

Kilz Standard Interior Primer and PVA Drywall Primer are water based.
  4. Anyone actively pushing “green” materials?

I would bet that you are in a metro area where people are generally "green" sensitive and businesses like to virtue signal. Whether customers are willing to pay for "green" products or not depends on how badly they want them. If your clientele don't care about "green" then you aren't going to...
  5. Mimaki UCJV300-160 - Problem Printing Red

As regards my comments that you answered. Ink limits are not a function of the printer, but of the profile. So they would have nothing to do with the age of the printer, but the numbers in the profile. If you are using canned profiles downloaded from the same place everyone else in the world...
  6. Vehicle Wrap Failure on Sharp Curves

Agree. Overstretching failure. It's not edge peeling up. You can tell it's overstretched from the puckers.
  7. Backlit printing passes on Epson S60600

I guess I'll ask the obvious question that if you're doing a backlit sign which only has black lines on it, why are you printing it rather than cutting it from black vinyl?
  8. Bonnet Stripes on tractors

I believe the Edge makes color gradients with a dot screen effect anyway, doesn't it? Normally you try to make the dots as small as possible so they are inapparent to the viewer. But if you want them larger, there should be someplace in the software to make them bigger. That's what he means by...
  9. Mimaki UCJV300-160 - Problem Printing Red

Just looking at your test prints you can see the magenta is deficient. The one that looks like plaid, you can see the horizontal and vertical lines that are supposed to be pure magenta are a light pink. If those were printed through a profile, then I'd look into the ink limits being way too low...
  10. Bonnet Stripes on tractors

Do you need it to be a dot gradient, or just a gradient? What software are you using to create your artwork?
  11. Need Help Onyx to Mimaki jv33-160

Disconnect the printer from the computer. Install this driver: https://mimaki.com/product/inkjet/i-roll/jv33-series/driver.html?driver=82763 Connect the printer to the computer and turn on. Then go to Onyx and configure printer. That's pretty much it. Make sure you are using a quality USB...

  14. Probably a very easy font question

The small copy looks pretty Clarendon Bold and Saint John Paul looks pretty Times Roman Bold
  15. Anyone actively pushing “green” materials?

I don't think it would fly in our area
  16. Head Soak

As far as I know the Epson doesn't do head soaks. Just three levels of automatic cleaning, which include periods of soaking (all very short compared to what we had to do routinely on our Mimaki JV3)
  17. Epson 40600 waisting the end of each roll?

It's not the sensor that stops it. It's the feed roller not having tension on it when it checks for tension.
  18. font ID please

Old school enough that I immediately recognized it.
  19. Epson 40600 waisting the end of each roll?

When you get near the end of the roll, unwind it and remove the material from the core. Carefully line up and tape a 2' long piece of material--we use leftover backing paper or vinyl we're discarding--to the end of your media. Then carefully reroll it and use. Of course, when you haven't...
