  1. Print test after light choke cleaning

In fact zooming in you seem to have hairs over most of the print head face as there are things showing up all over the test print. Have you replaced your wiper recently or cleaned it?
  2. Print test after light choke cleaning

Have you cleaned the surface of the print head manually as it looks like you also have hair on the black channel. It may be a blob of something is deflecting the print
  3. Print test after light choke cleaning

Run another couple of test prints and see if it does the same. Sometimes the printer can just throw up a weird signal that makes a head print strangely
  4. Dirtbike templates?

Absolutely this! WE know what a wrap is, but people do use it as a blanket term for any decal job that gives a lot of coverage :/ or anything put on vehicles these days. D
  5. Dirtbike templates?

Yes as I said ( in the older days or for custom colours ) the base panels were painted, then decals used over the top, not wraps. I never said the logos were painted on. Factory bikes generally use ready coloured plastics for the base colour, but the decals are not wraps. A laminated vinyl...
  6. Dirtbike templates?

I agree with others. 'Wraps' are ok for cars and vans etc... as you are mainly dealing with large flattish areas. On any motorbike there are very little flat surfaces - imagine trying to wrap a tank that is basically an elongated sphere ! Yes, you can wrap odd shaped objects to a degree with a...
  7. Dirtbike templates?

I meant the base panels are painted, then the decals are used over the top.
  8. SP-540V - 0010 Motor Error & Unrecoverable Limit Sensor

The joys of Roland ownership :D
  9. Dirtbike templates?

No they come painted ( or gel coat ) with decals, a lot different ! Wrapping bikes is a complete pain due to the shaping of the bodywork. Solid colour wraps can be ok, but printed ones get so distorted they are nearly impossible to get looking good.l
  10. SP-540V - 0010 Motor Error & Unrecoverable Limit Sensor

Check your DM as well :)
  11. SP-540V - 0010 Motor Error & Unrecoverable Limit Sensor

There isn't a fuse it would blow that would cause any problems, so possibly the junction board has damaged something else. At least you are getting it narrowed down now though! I would get a known working junction board and servo board and change those over on one printer and see if that solves...
  12. SP-540V - 0010 Motor Error & Unrecoverable Limit Sensor

I would be looking at replacing the junction board. The cover switches plug into this, as do the cut carriage and print carriage sensors. It could also be a servo board problem. With faults like this you have try a few things as various different faulty components can give the problems you are...
  13. Roland XC-540 possible bearing problem, grinding

Which kind of makes you wonder if they are genuine bearings, or someone in China is just making replicas of them....
  14. SP-300V Left Pinchroller Error

You need to remove the cut carriage and it screws onto the back of there.
  15. SP-300V Left Pinchroller Error

Yes that is the pinch roller sensor
  16. SP-300V Left Pinchroller Error

Clean the sensor on the cut carriage that senses the roller. These often get dusty and don't pick up the roller when they go over them. The other thing is the sensor could be failing, so should be replaced
  17. Roland XC-540 possible bearing problem, grinding

That's nice. What do the OEM bearings say on them? I know as I have loads here...
  18. Roland XC-540 possible bearing problem, grinding

A sticking bearing can give the scan motor error. The motor is trying to move the head as normal, but the bearings are giving too much resistance so it causes the error
  19. Freight for largeformat printers?

If its new and factory packed still you shouldn't have any problems. After all it made it across the sea from China or wherever without any problems. In any case, the risk is with the seller. If it does get damaged in transit then it is down to them to sort out the problem. You could buy one...
