We are going to rewrap all the walls in our store, and one of my artists was drawing this up. We are planning on doing all older looking images like is in the illustration. It will be a fairly large mural, this one about 40' long x 10 feet tall. Any critiques? Or things I should add? Just...
I always compare it to like a tv for example to my customers. It can last 5 years or so, depending on the care of it, but it is only warrantied for xxx years
We would be at about $300 for labor for one guy, if the old vinyl is removed and glue cleaned off. I'd at least double my material cost, maybe 3 times if you still have to mask them. Plus travel.
As long as your car is one solid color, and you do not have any seams, you shouldn't notice any color shifts. If you have for example a two tone paint job, especially with both dark and light colors, you might notice the red will look slightly different on each color. Same as if you do a seam...
I don't know the manufacturer. We just purchased it from a local fabric store. Jo-ann fabrics I'm pretty sure. We have done a few motorcycle seats and golf cart seats. We didn't laminate it, although I think liquid laminate would work really well on it. They have lasted many years, last I...
I can't see a single good reason to use super spray 77. That is just a spray adhesive, vs an adhesive promoter. And I would imagine you would see the spray under the wrap. I dunno what you're wrapping, but if you work it in all the channels and no bridging or over stretching, promoter is...
Do you mean how do you keep it straight going up to the bow? I am not sure what you mean about the straight up and end it short? I think you mean as you get towards the bow, the vinyl likes to rise up with the angle of the bow, and you end up short on the bottom? Is that what you are...

Sorry for the long link...
We do a lot of boat wraps, and get this periodically. We just found it easier either to call a mobile boat detailer, who will use a high speed buffer and compound or oxidation remover to buff it clean. This is paid by the customer. Or we do it ourselves with a buffer, and then charge it to...
It definitely looks like something is dragging. Maybe some banner fibers or a hair. It doesn't have to be on the print head, it can be somewhere else on the print carriage. I would take a flash light and look at it very well from different angles, and white it down with cleaning solution...
I'd help you out, but you are 5 hours away. We do runs longer than that all the time with out Seal and it works great. There isn't no one locally who can help you out?
Use 3m 1080, or avery sw900, etc. Some type of precolored wrap vinyl. Especially since this is your first time, using 751 or similar is going to be way to difficult. The rolls will come 60" wide, and I'd say by just looking at it, 3' would be plenty. There are a few places you can order...
