Full wrap, don't cut that out. The avery suggested would be my first choice, or 3m ij180cv3 each with matching lams. Don't use the 751. Its not a print media. Rollepro the rivets or use a soft foam paint roller, like the 4" ones.
Or send it to a wrap shop in the area....hint hint...we...
I'd outsource as well to like Stouse for example. But to go back to your issue, run all your pinch rollers, set a drying time of like 3-5 min or so, so that it doesn't track back through wet ink, clean your encoder strip, and definitely use versaworks to add the quantities. Hopefully all those...
We did a bunch of overlays onto avery matte black a few months ago. It was a little hassle to get them to adhere, but with some heat, they have stayed on well. This photo is showing it. It was gloss black, silver, and blue chrome overlays onto the matte black. All the films used were sw900

Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but it's two trailers? Why 10 days? One guy should be able to do a trailer in 2 days. Take a helper, and easily within 2 days per trailer.
I would print and contour cut all of it. With it being a fleet wrap and plenty of white on the van, cut and drop the area in the back recessed panel. With construction being in black, you could use like Orcal 751 or equivalent if you wanted, but I would let it roll with just all print and cut...
We have an Xr as well, and we use a Seal 62 base laminator with heat assist. You won't need a 64" laminator, as vinyl that you are going to laminate only comes 60" wide. The 62" laminator will work good for the money.
What kind of material is it, does it have air egress? I would imagine the center piece has the transfer tape to try and keep it from stretching to much when applying, then the other two don't so they can conform to the shape of the front a little easier. Try to let it lay where it wants to...
It's a ceramic coating, not exactly a wax. It is basically permanent and will have to be sanded off. The decals will not stick well to it, and like previously said will probably come off. A lot of manufacturers are doing testing on these coatings to see if they can help the longevity of wraps...
