  1. Box Truck Removal

Very carefully with a weed burner and propane tank. Get it toasty, and peel it off. Spray down with adhesive remover, and pressure wash off. Might take a couple applications. If you have access to one, hot water pressure washer will make it faster
  2. 3M Di-Noc for marine applications

While most of the products are only rated for indoor use, many of them are used outdoor in Japan and other parts of Asia. They have been using the product much more than we have here in the states. I’m a dinoc certified installer, and we talked about this at our class at 3M. While they don’t...
  3. Lam Separated From Vinyl, Again

It does it on 1360 as well. We have 570’s and although it doesn’t just peel off like some of the other posts stated, if you have like an overlap and you peel it back off, you run the risk of it peeing the lower layers laminate.
  4. Dryer

We use Black Box Dryers on all of our Roland’s Conveyor Dryers - BBC Industries, Inc.
  5. I need a cheap thick adhesive vinyl for latex printing? Matte if possible

The problem is that typically the thicker the film is the more that the imperfections will show. The thinner vinyl will stay tight to some trash in the paint, But thicker vinyl will tent around it making it look worse.
  6. Wrap Hood W/ Clear for Protection

As previously stated, PPF is the correct material to use. The brand we install the most of Xpel. Many of the major manufacturers have some form of this. 3M, and Oracal both have it as well. I prefer the Xpel. While it has some things in common with wraps, it is a different process and...
  7. Need Help Need pricing on a 26ft box truck wrap????

While 7800 is pretty high for that job, 2400 is pretty low. I’m sure wrapped with calendared film, but still is pretty low if including design as well. I think fair would be around $4800 in many markets. But depending on your area, you will see prices that vary that drastically what seems...
  8. Need Help Yea or Nay? Floor rack for large vinyl rolls EZ Horizontal Vinyl Roller Rack #17 EZH17

We have four of those horizontal ones that we only use for color change wrap material, we can just roll it off and cut it. But for print media, it would be a pain. We have vertical ones we welded together. Each holds about 20 rolls. We have one near each printer so the media is right there...
  9. Avery Wrap Class

It wasn’t bad. They have two different versions/classes. In the end it accomplishes the same thing, but one is less days. You have to be 3m preferred to take the shorter one, and they just skip the more basic stuff. We don’t do a whole lot of it, but a decent amount for it being a product...
  10. Avery Wrap Class

For what it’s worth, I think the 3m is the hardest of the certifications. I have taken most all of them. I am 3m preferred, 3m dinoc certified, Lowen certified, Avery certified, wrapify certified, and oracal certified. The Oracal is new, and I was in the first class. I know they are planning...
  11. Can I get some help with this font

I think I found it. Herculanum
  12. Can I get some help with this font

    Does anyone know this font?
  13. XPEL - Does anyone still do this?

You can sign up through xpel as a dealer, and purchase precut kits directly from them. The DAP software is great, but comes at a high price if you don’t purchase enough film monthly. I’d suggest just buying their kits with a dealer account until you starting buying enough. In my opinion they...
  14. Offshore Boat wrap designs?

www.auroragraphics.net has a lot of images of fish you can use. We do a lot of boats. And most of my customers like the detailed illustrations vs photos. Just a preference
  15. Need Help Looking for 3D vehicle wrap software.

They take photos of vans from different angles, and create their own templates in photoshop. Every time they wrap one of the vans they have the photo templates of, they create that mock-up to show the customer how it will layout. You can use the bad wrap templates for each side, and for...
  16. Lam Separated From Vinyl, Again

I’m with you 2ct, I’m 3m certified, Lowen certified, 3m architectural certified, and Avery certified. And I prefer installing Avery the most. Haven’t had any issues in the last 6+years with their vinyl until this with the delamination. And as long as you’re careful it can be avoided. Knowing...
  17. Lam Separated From Vinyl, Again

Yes, this has been an on going issue for them. We have a 570 as well. I spoke with an Avery rep back in June about it, and they are aware of it. Take this for what it’s worth, but a 3m rep told me just a couple weeks ago that the optimizer isn’t “outgassing” enough on the 570’s and that is...
  18. High Res/Vector Image Source for Aquatic Wraps

Auroragraphics.net has some high res fish for purchase
  19. Need Help Help! Wrap sizing gets cutoff when design is in versaworks
