Ultra smooth Matte finish, both in feel and appearance. Sorry, should have specified in the OP. :)

We are looking to make some ultra smooth Matte finish stickers/decals in solid colors (pastel/neon etc) using 3M materials. Which 3M Vinyl and laminate would be the best suitable for this job if smooth matte finish and solid color output are very important requirements.

We have lot of artworks, almost more than two thousand, individually grouped and named for identification, which we want to convert into layers without losing their identification names. There is already a layer option to convert all groups into layers but the groups names are not getting...

Used the Ungroup option. That would still keep the actual artwork grouped but the bounding boxes ungrouped. We have to select each artwork and group it again. Will try compound path but I remember it didn't work last time we tried. Will try again. Thanks eahicks for the tip.

We are using Flexi only for nesting and then plotting it since there's no nesting function available in illustrator. All our artworks are in illustrator .ai.

The artworks are the same and they are repeated everyday in the jobs. We do keep getting new artworks though every few weeks.

Sorry, typo..It was the FC8000 with Firmware V 3.5..I tried updating the firmware on both the FC8000 and FC8600 with their respective firmwares but got the same error...Is it necessary to update all the previous firmwares before flashing the latest one?
