Hi Folks
We have got an FC8000-60 machine and no matter where we set the origin point on the material, the cutting begins only from the extreme right on the material. We have tried even the hard firmware reset of the machine but still the problem persists. Any help on what could be wrong and...
Checked with a few offset printers..They say this won't be suitable for an offset job. The reason is we will have random adhoc jobs with a mix of various phone models. Also there are a number of models (almost 50 phone models) which have to printed and cut. So I guess only digital printing will...
Thnx for the direction..Yes we will need something that can be removed..like a vehicle wrap film.
For the printer, any particular model that you would suggest from Epson?
Thanks. can you suggest some models which go around 4pl ? Anything in Mimaki, Epson, HP or any other brands? Preferably with a smaller footprint. Also what media would be suitable from 3M? Will we require lamination over the print?
Hi Folks
We have got a job which requires kind of stickers/decals to be printed and applied on phones etc like the attached image. The details of the print are not visible in this image clearly but the actual output has to be very clear and realistic. Just wondering what would be the best media...
Hi,
Just wondering what blade holder and blade (angle) should we be using for cutting 8 mil (0.2mm) Paint Protection film with some intricate cutting involved?
CB09U (Blue Tip) or CB15U (Red Tip) and which blade (45 degrees or 60 Degrees)?
Thnx
Yup, I heard even the Summas are good with precision. But our issue is whether the tracking and precision is getting affected if we go from a smaller width Graphtec FC8600 to a wider FC8600? Does the extra movement of the cutting head over a wider distance affects the precision?
I tried even loading cutting master 3 and still its making that cut although outside the artworks. I don't want it to make that test cut but don't see any option even in Cutting Master 3.
We are planning to replace some of our Graphtec 24" width machines with the FC8600-160 (64") models. We cut a lot of intricate letters for our sticker cutting jobs and precision is very important.
Just wondering if going from a smaller width to a higher width is going to affect the precision...
I am using cutting master 2. I checked its setting and I see nothing that is sending any test cut on the plotter. We use the same to send cutting jobs even on our FC8000 and there are no such cuts there. Everything cuts fine on the FC8000.
This is on the cuts. This is happening on every cut job. I have even tried disabling overcut option on the FC8600 but the plotter is still making that cut. I am using cutting master 2 if that helps.
We got recently a Graphtec FC8600. Before every job, the plotter would make a small test cut on the vinyl thereby damaging the vinyl. A graphic of the cut is attached.
We had this issue even in our FC7000 but turning off the Tangential emulation stopped this. But in FC8600, no matter what we...
Thanks..that was great help..I will look into this and try it out..Although I am a bit worried about the precision of the cuts if I change the liners before plotting..The branded liner might not hold the vinyl as good as the original plain one and might afect the plotting..will experiment with...
The release paper with the logo is being supplied by the client himself. We are not printing it. Each job would be 24" width (thats the roll width) and around 7" height. The stickers come off quite easily from their original liner. Also there is no issue of dust since our facility is dust free...
Can't believe how most of you here have over reacted to a simple question and the % of people who want to jump to conclusions. Anyways I am glad that some of you genuinely helped in with their suggestions. Thanks a ton.
We are being supplied black carbon fiber vinyl rolls with an OEM plain...
We are manufacturing stickers using vinyls from a certain brand and would like to transfer them (after plotting and weeding) to another release paper that is required by our client.
What is the best and most cost effective method to do this for around thousand stickers a day?
Will replace the blade and try some test cuts and see if the head returns to normalcy after some cutting.
Just wondering if there is a QUALITY setting in FC8600 like we have in FC7000 series where I can just set it to 1 and see if the circles meet?
I can get the cutting mat and holder changed but what I am worried about is the head unit. Is there any chance of it being damaged? Is there any spring mechanism inside the carriage holding the blade unit that needs a look into?
