I forgot to mention that we have various versions of the same model of decal/sticker with minor changes in each artwork. And the biggest issue, we have more than 2000 such sticker models from which we copy and cut everyday. And half of them are just 1 copy each. So we have put everything in more...
We cut stickers/decals for phones etc and have a lots of different sticker outlines (based on lots of mobile phone models) that we need to cut in a single job. Currently we select and move each artwork as required from various master files into a single cut file into a boundary that represents...
How big is the difference in print quality between the Epson S series and HP latex? Which one is recommended for high quality decals/stickers and stuff like that and what kind of lamination will be required with either of these?
I know its a very old thread but I would be interested in this software that you got developed.
We cut stickers out of pre-made materials like carbon fiber etc and have a lots of different sticker outlines that we need to cut in a single job. We move the artworks from various master files which...
I know its a very old thread but I would be interested in this software that you wrote for batch function.

Nothing worked so I tried updating the firmware but even the firmware's not updating. My FC8600 is on V 1.60 currently but Graphtec's firmware update tool says the latest firmware V 3.10 is not meant for this machine. Is it necessary to update all the previous firmwares before flashing the...
Yup, this is the only option that's gonna work for now..The image that we uploaded is using this option...Only thing we need to be careful is everytime we cut a job, we have to disable this layer for cutting based on color. If the cutting software remembers the color, then its gonna be fine...
My FC8600 started behaving strangely suddenly in between a cut job. No matter whatever what we do, it will only cross cut the material and doesn't cut anything at all. Even tried resetting the machine. Has anyone faced a similar issue with their graphtecs and any idea on how to resolve it?
We have thousands of artworks for our sticker cutting business and would like to tag them with their unique names and also put in a big text label for each of them like Artwork 1, Artwork 2 etc so that we can identify them even when we have hundreds of them together in a single cut file by just...
I tried, first thing it doesn't recognize the artworks inside the box may be due the way those compound paths are. But other softwares are perfectly recognizing it. But still as a trial I tried nesting but its not nesting them correctly and seems to be taking them to the 2nd sheet when its...
Thank you for the suggestion. Will check the settings again but we are using the same cutting master 4 on the same PC to drive other plotters and they are all working fine. Of course, this problematic one is connected in USB and others are all on LAN network. But everything was working perfectly...
We need just box nesting. All the true shape artworks will be under their individual weed boxes as you can see in the attached images. So it will be just 100% rectangular boxes.
We are using cutting master 4 plugin for illustrator for cutting the artworks. We are using the same plugin to cut into 4 different machines (all FC8600) and they are working fine. Its only the FC8000 which is having this issue. This started after the vinyl got mangled in the middle of a cut and...
What will be a suitable cutting plotter software for artwork nesting? We have hundreds of outline artworks for stickers/decals that we need to cut everyday and Obviously to save as much material as possible, we try to utilize every inch of the materials by arranging manually it in the best...
Yeah, I have to agree the FC7000 were built for hard work..Was cutting a lot smoother than the FC8600. I have already replaced pinch rollers on both my FC8600 in the last 2 years or so. Not built to last too long I would say. 3-4 years may be and you will be placing a few parts on the 8600.
