We didn't make any changes to the tool position, neither in the machine settings, nor physically in the tool box. The CB-09U blade holder in in the back side tool position (meant for regular half cuts).
We got a FC8600-60 recently that came with a damaged pinch roller. The pinch roller got replaced but today when we tried to cross cut (Setting - Roll 1 Rear), strangely enough the head unit plunged the cutting blade holder down on the teflon cutting matt and tried the cross cut procedure whereas...
Just wondering what do folks here use for cutting 3M Di-Nov series of Vinyl (10 mil thick). I am using a Graphtec FC8000 but having a hard time cutting small letters or cuts. I am using a CB09 45 degree blade.
Are there any better plotters or blades/tools to cut this kind of vinyl with precision?
We are looking to source speciality vinyls with textured finishes and surfaces like the wood grain, brushed metallic, carbon fibre finish. We know about the 3M Di-noc but its really expensive.
Are there any other brands producing similar kind of quality vinyl like the 3M Di-noc finish range...
We make transparent stickers for electronic devices on a 24" wide transparent film. We currently use a guillitone paper trimmer to hand cut the sheet into individual stickers of various sizes as required. We need to semi-automate this process to a certain extent so that we can save on time as we...
Actually I am cutting paint protection film. The cuts are closing correctly since I have the overcut feature (tangential emulation) turned on. But overall the cuts are very rough. When I weed, the film is getting lifted along the edges.
Since the past 2-3 days my FC7000 is cutting very coarsely. All of a sudden its lost that smoothness when weeding. Looked like a dull blade so changed into a new blade. Was cutting still coarsely, so got a new blade holder and cutting strip too. Then got another new blade in the new holder with...
My graphtec FC7000MK2 always tends to make a small cut on the vinyl before starting to cut the actual artwork everytime I start a cutting job. Is there a way to stop this from happening ? It does this even during test cuts.
The blades might be good but their website isn't. How did you order these blades on the sites mentioned above ? I am not able to figure out anything on their online store.
I hv tried Clean Cut Blades. They are fantastic but the 60 deg blade broke and the 45 deg didn't last long enough. Might be bcos I am cutting paint protection film. So I always hv to replace the blades very often (even the original graphtec ones). If these ebay ones offer the precision needed as...
Looking forward to some new CB09 blades from ebay. Has anyone used these cheap blades before off Ebay and are they any good ? If they provide the cutting precision thats enough for me. Not too much bothered if they don't last long enough. My original graphtec blades are not lasting long either.
Its an FC7000MK2-24 .I am using a CB09 holder with a new 60* blade from cleanCut (although this happens even with graphtec 45* blades). BTW I am cutting paint protection film.
And my Offset has been 0 since the day I got my Graphtec. I agree with bob. Offsets are minor adjustments and big...
My FC7000 is in with a new problem (already got a bucket full of it). Since 2 days the cuts are getting skewed randomly..I have attached a picture of what I am talking about..As mentioned, one on the left is the correct one and the right is the skewed one although the original artwork was the...
