  1. Need beta testers

Hey guys! So here's the deal, I got a bunch of new stuff in the works, and I need some beta testers to try some of these products out before we launch them. Items will be raster images, vector images or fonts. You will be allowed to use these files in your everyday work environment and I...

Jk man. I'll help spread the word!!!! :notworthy::notworthy:
  3. Could use your help with this - Most important 26.2 miles I'll be running this year!!

    Naw, I've heard around here that you're a jerk. I wouldn't donate a :corndog:
  4. Shovelhead

Very sad to hear! I really enjoyed seeing Shovelhead on here :( Shovel man, I wish you the best and maybe one day we'll go on a ride together.
  5. Made the 6pm news again....

You obviously don't know this guys history, but regardless. Thanks bud!! :rock-n-roll:
  6. Made the 6pm news again....

It takes a special kind of attention monger to go to pick up their kid from school and then call up a news agency to make up a story. Sheesh dude take it down a notch or 3.
  7. Did I get a bad roll of media? Orajet 3751 RA

I'm getting the same thing. I cant' figure out a profile that will work on that 3751 stuff...kinda blowing my mind. It's nice to work with, but geez...would be nice to print on it. Would love to hear how people profile for it as I'm sure that's what it is
  8. Mutoh Rockhopper I for Motocross, MX Graphics

Eh just let him do it guys. In 2 months he'll be broke and stuck with a giant doorstop. lol. He isn't catching on.
  9. Best Printer for MX Graphics

You'll need to budget about 10-15 times that to get your feet wet. As has been mentioned...you'll need printer, laminator, GOOD quality plotter, software and misc tools.... so for $2500 you can't even get a decent cutter :/ Save up for awhile and do some research and you'll find the right setup.
  10. Wetland or Marshland camo

Rare to the point of almost not existing. People protect those files like they're made of gold and they're heavily licensed. Aurora and Fred Weiss have some stuff for sale you can check out that's similiar though.
  11. Looking For Suggestions For Materials for Motorcross Graphics

MX material isn't cheap, and is not the same as cutting regular decals. Many shops get setup with flatbed cutters to handle the cutting easier. Substance and Convex both work well, but if you think Substance is expensive, you will have a cow over Convex. The right material, is going to cost an...
  12. Has anyone put vinyl on a Silo ?

I would definitely do that in paint. Cheaper and will last longer. However if they really want to do it in vinyl....well sir, I wish you luck. That is one crazy project to tackle with vinyl.
  13. Logo Designers Needed

You know I'm right around the corner ;)
  14. Square Footage for Top of '84 Chevy Caprice

The chances of someone having a 84 Caprice chilling in their driveway is kind of a shot in the dark, and I'd highly doubt anyone made a template for one of those (not like I trust any of those templates anyways). Just take the time to go measure it like you have to do for any other vehicle?
  15. Will vinyl stick to signacade?

Haha it takes like 30 seconds. It's common practice for coolers, garbage cans, atv plastic, porta-poddies etc. You need to burn up the oils and the mold release that's left on the plastic. Any injection molded plastic piece you run into, you should run the flame treatment on.
  16. What Once Was - Hand Lettering Inking and Vector Process

Cool to make an old effect. Kind of the wrong process for creating vector letters, but if having a lot of noise is something you want in your design then that's how you pull it off. Was entertaining, thanks :)
  17. Anyone else just totally slammed right now?

I have seen a lot of new customers, and good sales the past 2 months. Maybe a new generation getting started and they need advertising? Not sure but it's been trucking along nicely
  18. I love 3M.

I needed a bid from Oracal once for a little over 60,000 square feet of material. I had no problem getting straight answers from them with quotes, turnaround times, shipping suggestions etc. I simply verified with them who I was and who my usual supplier was and went quite easily. Reason...
  19. Van graphics pricing in the ballpark?

Well if he's in a rainy area, any day it gets wet you won't be able to see out of it PERIOD. So pick your poison, I lam my perf here. As far as pricing, I'd say you're right in the ballpark. If you feel comfortable with it and you know your overhead....pull the trigger.
  20. Grrrr. Customers buying cheapy camouflage vinyl off the web, looking for someone to..

I tell them I don't install customer supplied vinyl. Simple as that. Some of that stuff I've seen is so, so horribly cheap. I've seen camo come in, non air release, no laminate, super thin and brittle. No thank you.
