Silvering will not go away...always use heat when applying pressure sensitive laminate...if my laminator arrived damaged I'd send it back or at least have a tech onsite to repair...I would go with a GFP...
If it were media you would see across all colors...if you increase resolution/pass mode does it go away?
how old are inks? Check the date. I would pull cartridges and agitate ink just to be sure then run a few cleanings to cycle ink...
I might try to go the other way with your heat...lowering...

Make sure you set your rip up to flip every other panel and. Make sure understand how to correctly set curing and drying temperatures...too much heat will cause panels to stretch...it's always wise to use a media that has a HP certified profile...
Check out a company in hillside, nj Diversified Display...they host vehicle wrap classes 2-3 times a year that is sponsored by Avery and hosted by Justin Pate...solid hands on course...the cost of the class is offset by wrap tool kits and media provided by Avery...
If it's a startup...look to GFP for a laminator and go with the HPL110...you will save a few thousand dollars also comes with a rip in the box...not ideal but it will get you from a-b. If your business grows...you ca convert your 110 to a 310...very easy...only difference between the two is the...
Lower heaters...most profiles default to 240 degrees...way too hot...start 205-210...
I'd start on the low side...
the other way around...install the dbl sided banner inserts/fabric and this will minimize direct contact of heaters and film and prevent curl
GS6000 is a little long in the tooth...if you cannot cleat ASSY that holds the wiper...it's easier to just replace the ASSY...I think it's like $150 and a few screws...
Any reseller should have it...the HP5500 needs a white backing in order for printer to see it and load...there should be clear film like acetate and maybe clear vinyl...
what are you trying to produce?
Only issue with Graftec is that if you have an issue..the plotter needs to be created up and shipped to an authorized repair location at your expense...even if it arrives damaged in shipping...
Summa/Roland's are repaired onsite
Just an assumption...they used liquid lamination...the pr mask is to give it some size/protection when installing...I question liquid lam on vehicles all the time...makes no sense...
