  1. VersaWorks or Flexi issue with CutContour?

Sounds like it's the Flexi program that is doing something that the other programs don't like.
  2. VersaWorks or Flexi issue with CutContour?

I've never used Flexi, so couldn't say for sure, but I always create my print files in Illustrator and add the cut contour. VW will take both pdf's and EPS's, which ever you prefer to save as. If you don't have the actual Versa Works swatches, just use a magenta stroke, I typically do .25pt...
  3. Need Help Lost Cyan channel

Looks like your head is dripping, which usually means damage to the head. I hate to say it, but most likely a new head will be needed, as for the other issue, is there ink in the damper? A new head may clear up both problems, as the dripping could be causing the damper to empty quicker then it...
  4. VersaWorks or Flexi issue with CutContour?

Have you tried setting it up in illustrator and trying it in VW?
  5. vp540 wont power on...help

I would say there's a good chance the control panel is dead.
  6. Roland SP540V Clogged K/C printhead

Maybe if the manifold is clogged, that's the piece between the damper and head.
  7. vp540 wont power on...help

It could be possible, if there is power to the main board, it means the machine is getting power, is the green light lit up on the printing carriage? If so, there is a chance it's the panel that is dead, make sure the cable is properly connected in the back off it.
  8. Roland SP540V Clogged K/C printhead

That is very strange, I haven't heard of that either, unless it was sitting not on the cap top for 4 days. I'd recommend doing another 48 hour head soak, make sure you clamp the line after the cap top and refill with cleaning liquid after 24 hours, then run a couple powerful cleaning and see if...
  9. Roland SP540V Clogged K/C printhead

When you pull from the line after the cap top, are you getting air, or just resistance? If you're getting air, there are 2 possibilities that come to mind, the first being that the cap top isn't sealing properly to the head or the second is that the seal between the damper and the head has...
  10. Roland SP540V Clogged K/C printhead

Could be the dampers or you might have an air leak in the lines, do you have any photos?
  11. Flushing Position Adjustment for Roland VS-540i ink dripping out of left side of capping station

It has happened once, a long time ago, I have the VS-300i, so a little smaller printer, but everything is the same. I think that run off might be due to the edge being very gummed up with excess dried ink, at least from that photo it looks that way. Do you do a manual cleaning at least once a...
  12. Flushing Position Adjustment for Roland VS-540i ink dripping out of left side of capping station

It looks pretty dirty around the edges for only being a few weeks old... Anyways is it OEM or 3rd party? I'd for sure also clean those edges, cleaning off any of the dried build up.
  13. Flushing Position Adjustment for Roland VS-540i ink dripping out of left side of capping station

How old is your cap top? looks to have a bit of build up on the rubber around the cap top.
  14. New Printhead not printing.

Did you try to re-insert the cables while the printer was still powered? If so, then it for sure blew the fuses, I learned that the hard way when I was first starting to use these machines. They can be a pain to remove and solder a new one, I would advise to just solder on top if your new to this.
  15. Place to get Roland Parts

There are 2 places I used, but they also sell lots of 3rd party parts, so you'll need to make sure you buy the OEM parts, I use sign-in-china.com and DIGIPRINT Supplies. I've had no issues with the print heads from sign-in-china, can't guarantee they are genuine, but for the price they work...
  16. XF 640 One head wont pull the ink

cables wouldn't cause the ink not to get to the head, the only thing would be to make it not print. I'm guessing you have an air leak in the lines, I'd start there and see if you can pull ink to the dampers with a syringe, if you can get it to there, then it could be the cap top, if you can't...
  17. XF 640 One head wont pull the ink

Are you using OEM or 3rd party parts? if 3rd party, might have one of those bad seals in the dampers, could also be the cap top. Did you try pulling ink with a syringe from the line after the cap top to see if you can get it to come that way?
  18. Ink issues vp300i

Can you show a test print (Nozzle Test)? As mentioned above I would say its a mix of too low head and wrong profile being used. What media are you printing on?
  19. Roland sg540 yellow problem

Make sure the cables are properly connected to the head. That would be my first suggestion, if that doesn't help, then I'd say a new head may be needed.
  20. No ink flow in ink lines

You won't be able to find a certified Technician to service that machine as it is end of life. Unfortunately you'll need to get your hands dirty for this one. I would start with a 48 hour head soak minimum. Make sure you cap off the lines after the cap tops and it's best to top off the cleaning...
