I would agree with the out gassing issues on Low end solvent printers. They have no way to dry and cure prints on the printer other then sitting and curing. They are also not made for high volume runs either..... It is all about the machines you use and what the production needs to both you and...

Just for the record... There are no clients that are "to small of a fish for us". We do our best to service all projects as best we can. If not I will refer a qualified shop that can meet and exceed your expectations. No worries there is plenty of work for all of us... Anyone who gets pissed...

We are running the QS3200r at 540dpi. 4 color fast= 1950 s/f hour. The machine will run in either 540 or 1080 dpi. 4 color or 8 color. This is the second year we have run on this machine. Past years we have done on our HP/Scitex Xljets.

Actually it is only 755k s/f. this is the 4th year we are doing this for this client. Only curve ball is that in the past years we had 3 months to do this job. This year we have only 6 weeks. Print, Trim and bulk pack for a shipping container. 16 skids of 1250 flat units each skid.

Actually they are 368 foot rolls. Starflex in Korea made these rolls for us . This particular Job is 540 rolls and required a non PVC banner that only Starflex could produce. Starflex is the biggest banner MFG. in the world. They pretty much private label everyones banner stock...

Sericol NH inks are fare superior to XL inks in every aspect. Price, Usage, Color Gamut and Machine performance. You pay less to use less ink get greater colors and less headaches with your XLjets. I have some killer profiles in all print modes. If anyone wants them let me know.

Feb. is always a banner month for us (no pun intended). The job attached requires 24 rolls a day to be printed to meet the deadline. Started Jan 15th job is due Feb 25.

Depending on what printer and ink you have the ink may be very flexible. We get 300% stretch in both directions using our QS3200R still would not do any full wraps though. The problem lies in the lamination of UV curable prints and the silvering in prints caused by the dot gain of printing...

We just ordered two 60" machines this week. They will be installed late next week. They will be replacing two of our jv3s for small runs. Let you know what's up once they are running.

Spec. from Xaar is 18 months. On one of our XL1500s that has close to 3 million s/f printed we have only replaced 3 of the 32 heads since 2007. Proper care keeps them going and going. Wish I could say the same about Spectra heads.... The Xaar heads are inexpensive also they only cost...
