  4. Did you file for PPP?

For us it worked out perfectly. We got the money right when we needed it, when our saved money for emergencies was about to run out at the end of March. We didn't close, even though the amount of work coming in wouldn't have been enough to keep things going without borrowing. For us, early to...
  5. Did you file for PPP?

That is correct. If you don't spend it all within the 8 weeks on allowable categories, the remainder is not forgivable and becomes a low interest loan, which I think has a delayed payback period. The reason they gave you 2.5 times your monthly payroll as a loan amount is so that you have the...
  6. Did you file for PPP?

Our bank has been sending us the updated documents from SBA as they are still changing the requirements daily. It hasn't been 8 weeks since the PPP started sending out funds and the countdown for forgiveness starts with the beginning of the first pay period after you received funds. The only...
  7. Powdercoating question

I don't think that is a problem commonly encountered. Automotive wheel manufacturers us powder coating as a finish, and they mask off parts of the wheel so that the finish can be variable, plus they don't powder coat the edge of the rim, as it would get ruined in mounting the tires. If corrosion...
  8. Did you file for PPP?

I don't think you've been in business long enough to qualify. We had to provide a year's worth of 940/941's to qualify.
  9. News Gothic Bold Oblique

One does wonder about the Twin Cities area and their police. Three high profile police deaths in 4 years. Philando Castile in 2016, Justine Damond in 2017 and now this. I know the one in 2017 resulted in the police chief, who stayed on her vacation four more days before returning and commenting...
  10. Rant What is going on with FedEx?

For our FedEx Ground delivery I had a package delayed more than a week, and it was at the depot and every day tracking said it was on truck for delivery, but at about 3 in the afternoon it would change to an exception and no delivery attempt made, delivery tomorrow. I called and the people at...

  14. Yet Another Font ID...

I have a suspicion it's more than one font. The B is Premier Com. The e is Aase light. I couldn't find a perfect match for the llin.
  15. Boat Registration Numbers Complaint...for real???

Gino is correct. The height of letters is defined by the flat letters (like I, T, W, V--unless the W and V have points on the bottom). The round letters will always be taller, going below the baseline and higher than the flat letters. So when you make 3" letters, the flat letters should be 3"...
  16. Aluminum Trucks... Again!

Wow. That was big. But I'm curious about the Unistick stuff too.
  17. Anyone seeing loads of material shortages yet?

Just ran into my first issues with delivery of things. Feather flags (which I suspect are really made in China) suddenly started taking a long time to get, and the people I order them from aren't responding to phone and email. Roll of vinyl didn't come, so I called Grimco. Turns out that...
  18. How do I remove CLEAR COAT.??

So, to fix the problem it has to go to a body shop where they will sand and refinish the whole vehicle. Probably cost $10,000?
  19. hardware to use on refurbished church signage?

Normally those have a lock at the center bottom. That one doesn't appear to have a lock. However I see three black grommets/holes in the plastic sign face that line up with holes in the metal frame. It might just be that you put a screw in each of those holes that threads into the grommet.
