I have that problem if I try aftermarket wipers. I only use genuine Roland now and have never had an issue again. Have you replaced or cleaned the wiper scraper? If there is a lot of ink build up on there it may cause problems with your wipers.John

I have a 30in Daige and a MVT-6000 from U.S. Tech and I have had no issues with either. Sometimes the learning curve is different from one person to another. I guess I am lucky enough to know how to set them up to work correctly. John
I just needed a black head. I learned to replace them myself so it cost me about $600 for the head. If you use a Roland tech you can figure about $1300 each installed. That's what they were charging me. John
I don't do a lot of contour cutting with my 540. It's hit and miss and I find that the accuracy of the cuts sometimes depends on the type of material I'm using and the size of the design. The larger the design the better the cut for me anyway. I think the blade can get held up in thicker...
If you do a search you will see a bad or dirty encoder strip will cause all kinds of problems and I've experienced a lot of them. A new encoder strip fixed if for me but you may get lucky if it's just dirty. Youtube will have videos of the cleaning and/or replacing process. John

I have a customer wanting two 30 inch x 105 inch outdoor windows fully covered with printed vinyl. They want something that will last longer then a perforated vinyl. If it lets in any light that would be a plus.
