Hey, My old CRT is taking up waayy too much space on my desk (and creating a LOT of heat)... so I figure it's time to "upgrade". I figure I'll go with a 22" LCD. I've been trying to look at customer reviews, but they're mostly "gamer" or "movie watcher" related... I did some searching...

I've never heard of Peachtree (maybe I don't get out enough)... but I see a LOT of applications that have specific "import from Quickbooks" or "export to quickbooks"... including my online banking and credit card companies... so that's a timesaver.

I'm having a horrible time trying to import any .cdr file. I of course don't have Corel Draw... but I would have thought either Omega, Illustrator or PhotoShop would at least be able to IMPORT them. Anyone willing to convert these for me? Or know of a place/application that will convert...

Are you using OMEGA? Select the red shapes and the black shapes, then click on: Tools --> Choke/Spread Select the top color (ususally the darker one)... so in your case BLACK, and then select the Choke/Spread amount (this is the amount in inches that the colors will overlap)...

He did mention the Summa line, so maybe he's comparing the DC4 to an EDGE/Plotter combo - which would be about the same price. I currently have an EDGE, and am trying to figure out myself what the next step should be, and the DC4 seems awfully tempting... but it's apparently a lot more...
