Usually we'll blow up their image to about the size we think it will be and print on regular paper a section. Seeing it at actual size will either make them go back to the drawing board, have us recreate it, or just go with the low res file.
Yeah I was hoping to find maybe the original font (if there is one) that was modified for the logo because the business changed their name. I could live trace it but with a completely different business name it won't do me good. Its okay I went ahead and hand drew their new name to replicate...
The business changed their name but wants to keep this style of logo. I'll have to recreate the logo but I'm not sure if these two fonts are completely original or if they are based on an existing font. Any help would be much appreciated!
That is a neat idea but you don't get any customers that take up a lot of your time? We wouldn't be able to do this here because we get a lot of customers that would just hang out all day asking to see the proof a hundred different ways. For the really lost customers we have a sheet of fonts...
Are able to send a job to print despite the name being blank? I haven't experienced anything like that before but I came across this thing in preferences (see attached). Take a look and see if that is checked.
Nitrile gloves does the trick. I keep a pair for handling vinyl and another for when doing daily/weekly maintenance. Our widest roll is 54" and so I can hold the roll from the edges and try to avoid touching the center.
When I lived in Austin, TX for a little while I experienced snow for the first time one year and apparently so did a lot of people because I saw lots of people losing control. I saw a taxi spin out in front of my apartment. I called that I wouldn't come into work and played in the snow. It...
I still have the issue. The cartridges read fine if I moved them to our 150-160 printers so I know for sure it has something to do with the 30-160. Hopefully someone might see this thread and have a few answers.
Since I started working in the sign business I noticed this more and more happening. I don't want to derail from the main discussion but I blame the instant gratification mostly everyone is addicted to. We want new things every day, right away and the quality amazing. I have a few artist friends...
Recently our CJV30-160 started giving me this error and all but the magenta cartridges became undetectable. In order to work around this I would have to take out and reinsert each cartridge. Another odd thing is when this started happening I noticed the ink levels displayed on the printer are...
I have to say we had a lot of orders this January compared to the last two years. I'm hopeful this year business will be better. Last year I was starting to get a little scared from how slow it got lol
Why I'm smiling:
1) Lost 12 pounds since Jan. 4th on just eating healthier and I'm slowly going to add cardio back in.
2) Finally upgrading my phone and internet at home today so I don't feel like I'm 10 years behind.
3) It's Friday!
By the way how would you trick the machine to pull from the older cartridge? If I take out the newer cartridge it will not run unless both cartridges are inserted.
