YES. The side effect of running a cleaning cartridge is that whenever you decide to pop the white or metallic cartridge in, you have to run a "fill ink" to get all the cleaning fluid out of the lines and ink into them -- but it runs ink from ALL 8 cartridges. I'd only do this if it's a long term...
Hold "TEST PRINT" until it beeps and show us a picture of the test print/nozzle check. My bet on the banding black would be that not all nozzles are firing or deflecting. Could clear up over time.....could be an issue only solved with replacing the black/cyan head. Either way, if you're actual...
Although I've never had to do it yet (we print smaller stuff) I've heard this is the answer, especially on solid color wraps. I THINK versa works has the option to invert alternating panels but I'm not sure where it is?
That color shift seems pretty significant tho
Wow some excellent information there Pat, thank you! I may be in touch with you via PM for more tips.
Did a ton of test printing just to find the limits of this machine today...the only thing I'm having trouble understanding is how the printer is 75% faster than our old printer, but doesn't...
Just took delivery of our new VS540i today and so far I LOVE THIS THING! Such a HUGE upgrade from our Sp300v. The print quality is absolutely incredible....how did I go without it for so long??!
I'm really wanting to pop some clear 3651 into this and play with some white printing. I've got to...
My biggest debate was MVT vs AK model. I went with the AK because I'm a small one-man shop operating out of my house (with occasional helpers) and we're coming off a manual 38" daige and it didn't really bother me too much on the knobs - plus, coming from china, it just made more moving parts...
After reading lots and lots of posts on here about USTECH laminators, pulled the trigger with dave at bestdgi today on an AK600. Took your guys' advice and went with the wider laminator just in case anything else pops up that's larger than expected. Excited to see it in person! Hopefully it...
I figured that may be one of the responses....but are the UStech laminators going to last another six years? That's how long it was before we went from our smaller printer to this new one. I know most people are using 66/64" Laminators with their 54" printers, but aside from possibly upgrading...
Hey guys...just pulled the trigger on a Roland VS540i (YAYYYYY!) and now we're needing a laminator. I have read nothing but great things about the USTECH laminators so that's what I'm currently looking at. My question is, should I be looking at a 55" or a 64" USTECH Laminator? Space IS a little...
Hey Guys!
I just wanted to take a second to say THANK YOU to Pacific Coast Sign Supply (Portland, Oregon) and Bobby of CS-Sign Supply (online). Over the last two and a half weeks, I made the decision to upgrade printers from our SP300V to a 54" Roland Print/Cut - but I wasn't sure which one. My...
these are the exact kind of responses I was hoping to hear :) and that I why I love this forum so much...honest real-life opinions.
If we go with a VS, I've definitely decided to go CMYKlclm (6color)
If we go with a VSi, that's where I'm overwhelmed. I'm thinking CMYKlclm+light black, or...
