Don't cut any lettering out of it. It will not hold up. We have 2 rolls of slx+ that we bought in a pinch but our installers hate it compared to avery 1105.
Me! 12am, a block away from my office. 2 thugs tried to carjack me. If not for my gun, it would have been one hell of a fight in the cab of my jeep.
No one was shot and I prevented them from relieving me of my property. Now if they would have forced the issue further there would have been 2 guys...
Not that one.
The one if you open versaworks and select "Media" and print the "Swatch Book"
I want to open the swatch book and add a perfcut around all the pages so I dont have to sheer them down.

I am wanting to add a perf cut to the color system library chart book. I cant find it in any of the Versaworks system folders. does anyone know where they are stored? i Dont want to recreate the entire book from scratch. Ive done it with a pantone book and it sucked.
Have you thought about a separate cutter? I personally wouldnt buy another print cut machine. I have only had 1Roland turd and that was a PC60. I know the original VG's had issues but the VG2's dont seem to have as many problems. I just got a new EJ640 and it has had a few issues but nothing...
Head heat is probably to low. I know on the LE there is a potentiometer pot on the board behind the back cover about center on the board. On the edge 2 I don't know but I would bet there is one somewhere on the board.
Does it make a popping sound while printing? Like the foil is stuck to the vinyl?
In 1980 it hailed here as big as grapefruit. We kept them in the freezer for about a year. It punched holes through the metal roof of our barn and the hood of my dad's truck.
Not trying to ruffle your feathers but thats why you should build your own profiles for your media. I1 Pro3 Publish, best $2800 you can spend. Your colors will be more consistent between medias and use the right amount of ink for the media. We used oracal 3651 profile for years on everything...
We are the highest shop in our town. There are about 8 other sign shops here but only 1 as large as us. We still cant keep up with orders. I am moving prices even higher just to weed out the problem customers.
I used to be the guy that never turned down a job, worked 7 days a week and did 36...
We keep misprints for training our new hire people. Everything else goes in the dumpster. We do give rolls of liner to some fab shops for layout paper but they can't use everything we generate. Our schools started turning us down too after a while because they don't need any more.
We are...
Grasping at straws here but you could try swapping the printhead cables from another head and see if it is that. 99% of the time though if a cable is bad the head wont fire or just runs wide open.
I hate to say it but the C head is probably toast even though it is new. Something damaged the face and you are not going to recover it.
Keep in mind some things about the clean. Normal Clean uses the ink in just the head, Medium Clean uses the ink in the head and the damper, Powerful Clean...
Its the head deflections causing the over spray. Get a service manual and follow the instructions for replacing the head. If I remember correctly the K head is not adjustable and the other heads adjust to it (I could be mistaken). Be careful when pulling the dampers off the manifolds because...
