I have in the past used aluminum panels, prints done on Avery 1105 but not laminated. Installed the prints on the panels and clear coated them with 3 wet coats of automotive clear. Texas sun and one is still up from 10 years ago. The ink is fading but the vinyl isn't peeling and overall the sign...
We clean an area of the wall with Alcohol and do a adhesion test with fishing weights overnight with 4 or 5 different materials. The wall tells us what material to use. We've used everything from IJ35c to Avery 1105EZRS to Orafol 3651HT and others.
You have major deflections on the K head and a few in the C head. Your print has more issues than just over spray. The striping alone would land that print in the dumpster in our shop.
I would try a head soak, then draw ink through the K head with a syringe, then run a medium clean. If the head...
I have a smart car we did back before Avery came out with the "Z" line of laminates that still looks great. In fact everything we did before the change lasted and looked great for around 5 years or more. After the "Z" line changeover everything started burning up around 3 1/2 to 4 years.
We switched to Arlon 3270 for lam over Avery 1105. Avery's lam has not performed for us in Texas. 3 years on horizontal is about all we could get out of it.
We don't have time to babysit the jobs like the Arlon Reps wanted us to when they came to the shop over a year ago. They wanted us to keep the job for 24 hours and double check it. Also they advised post heating every square inch of film. We post heat now but only the edges, recesses, and body...
Is that a Motocross trailer? If its low enough It is damage from a bar end when the rider leaned his bike against it.
On a side note. That combo of 35c and 210 wont last long at all before the 210 fails and y'all will be redoing it. For pete's sake just use cast material and charge for it...
Well Avery 1105 is in the same boat. I just got the last 4 rolls from GSG Dallas and Houston. We usually buy by the pallet. I'm now in talks with some other mfg's and testing films that we can get. We have another 200 or more wraps on the books for 1 of our customers and probably 30 more one the...
I would expect "in this situation" that the colors be reasonably close" to the eye between both products. They are not touching and probably will be separated by a few feet so a slight shift would be acceptable.
The company sounds like they just don't want to work at their job. You can only...
3 roland printers, 2 roland cutters, and an old edge2 for certain products. We are tossing around picking up another EJ later this year and retiring our oldest printer that is an SP540i.
On a side note an I1 pro publish is a must for color consistency between machines.
Have you called your power provider about doing a service upgrade? our will upgrade free of charge to the meter. Add an extra 3 phase distribution box and tie back into the single phase box. Then feed new power to the 3 phase equipment. If your in the budget to spend 300K on a printer what is...
We have a new one and it is pretty fast and prints great. We are running it dual 4 color with 1 liter ink carts. If he wants one he better jump on it Roland only has 1 more in stock stateside. This is not our only machine but its the fastest we have in our stable.
If you can get a dongle copy you can. The cloud doesn't support it.
In the old days you could install production manager on one machine and design on another too, but that isnt supported either anymore.
