We run a Dell Precision T3600 Xeon E5-2670 processor with 64gig RAM and 1tb SSD. Video card doesn't have to be much. RIP is CPU and RAM intensive.
We drive 3 printers and 2 cutters through Flexi, VW5, and VW6 all at the same time. No lagging other than normal RIP times.
This unit is an older...

It looks like ink starvation somewhere in the system. You will have to check everything from the cartridges to the capping station.
Are the dampers full when a print is started? If its happening anywhere from 2 to 3 feet into a print that would say to me that the damper is not drawing ink...
Lower your resolution like Solventinkjet said. I would probably save them at 72 ppi unless I saw stepping in the diagnal or curved hardlines then I would up the resolution till everything printed smooth. Probably no more than 125 ppi.
Ink starvation. Try slowing the head down. Or run it uni directional.
What dampers are you using? Is there enough room between dampers for them to pulsate and draw in ink without pushing on the opposite damper?

Call me if you want to ask any questions. We run Miller equipment , both spool gun and TIG.
It will take to long to type out the pros and cons of both.

We run 2. One at our primary location and one offsite. We use a backup software that does comparative file check and only updates the slave NAS if the file size is larger or date is newer.
I would check the mist pad. Sometimes they bow upwards when they get soaked with ink. Weird its only half the head. That uses a DX6 head with all the channels on one head.
Check and find whats rubbing the head. Then soak the head overnight by clamping the drain on the cap top and filling with...
