Same here...always silicone and tape combined - even on super-light letters/signs. Sign installations should generally be 'over-engineered' in my opinion.

Very nice. There has to be a way you can use the duct work as a beer delivery system. And that water fountain outside of the bathroom. That needs to be a seasonal brew dispenser.

Agreed, it was likely carelessness on his part, but if I fell from that high up, regardless of how how happened, I wouldn't be working from heights again. This is the second YESCO employee that has fallen off that sign. The first one didnt live. Makes you wonder if the two causes are...

P.S. That would be my last day in the sign installation business.

Raises a million questions. The article said his co-workers said he was wearing his harness. If he was, did it break? If so, had it been inspected recently? Harnesses don't just break. If it was faulty, I'm betting a lawyer is already drooling and eyeing YESCO like a ribeye. It will be...

ugh....I understand the need for it but I hate paying the premium. Mine is a bit over $2500 per year. I forget who it's through. I try to forget about it all together.

The Command Strips would be my choice because they don't damage the wall and they hold extremely well.

Forgot to mention...after hanging the above, I hung numerous other panels for the same customer. I used these on the panels below. They work very well and are what I would use in the future...

This may be helpful. The method in Post #5 is how I installed the panels below. Zero issues to date.

If it's stud-mounted and installed with a good amount of silicone - someone is going to have have their work cut out trying to steal it. Any additional adhesive is great for extra measure (epoxy, etc.).

Gotchya...thank you for sharing. We'll see how it goes. I have a couple of other laptops (HP & Toshiba) that still function perfectly and I'll back my important info up to multiple sources in case anything does happen to the refurb'd Toshiba.

Exactly. This is why I said "black is black" isn't the case. Trans and opaque black do not light well.

He's asking how you access the electrical. If it's illuminated there should be a way to service/access the electrical.

Hard to tell what's going on by those pictures. Take those caps off and try to see how it's built.
