6x6's look better than 4x4's. I'd use 6x6 posts as well, if I don't want my sign looking like every other generic sign out there. 30" depth might work in Virginia, but not in Kansas.
Yes, sir. You sure can, you just have to use PhotoTex itself as the transfer tape. We've done a few Photo Tex print and cut jobs. Honestly, the stuff is pretty amazing.
We print on 3651RA w/ 210 lams both gloss and matte and don't typically see any curling at all that I've ever noticed. The only difference here is we're laminating with a RollsRoller.
There are a lot of variables that can effect how precise your cuts are. Things that I do to ensure a proper cut are as follows...
1) Never align the media off of the leading edge of the media. The media cutter seldom cuts these edges perfectly straight. It's typically always slightly off, maybe...
Look around a bit. There are a few different versions out there. This may be of some help...

Other Features: The deeply embosses surface of AT75.1 impresses a grid pattern of air-egress tunnels in the adhesive. This air-egress feature makes lamination of the tape to vinyl films bubble-free. That's a big deal because if you entrap air bubbles between the application...
I've been running a CJV150-130 for two and a half years now in a small shop and we do about the same output as this guy. We shut down every year around Christmas and New Year's for at least two weeks. I've let the printer sit idle for as long as seventeen days without even a light cleaning of...
While I think PB's reaction to your comment is a bit outrageous, I think he or she is simply put-off by your response as it has no relevance to the topic of slip sheets. Or does it? Maybe I just don't see the connection, but I kinda wondered the same thing, like what does this have to do with...
Okay, I guess I've just never really encountered that situation. I usually try to limit myself to pretty basic shapes and I set up rectangles and squares with radius corners.
Yeah, except in most of these 'ugly font' scenarios, it's likely going to be a font that's free for commercial use that they are using. I can't imagine any of our clients, other than the ones who are actually designers, paying for the fonts they use. And while I realize that a lot of commercial...
I'm not sure I understand your question, as when dealing with half cut or perf cut decals, the contour cut and the perf cut are one and the same. Am I missing something?
One thing I gotta say is they need to hire someone better to design their marketing materials. Those banners are nothing but a HUGE waste of space and ink.
It still haul's a$$. I've been very happy with it since day one. Then I go home at night and work on my home PC and I just want to throw it through the window. Fortunately, at home I have dual monitors so that saves me a bit of time, but my processor at home is SLOOOOW. But that's what you get...
The attached image shows the specs on our design computer. We purchased it four years ago and it's been a solid performer ever since. We spent over $2,000 for it and didn't even bat an eyelash.
With the time it saves, it will pay itself off the first year.
This is exactly what we have. The...
Grimco sells .125 aluminum in 5' x 10' sheets. Just have them shear the sheet in two and use a cut vinyl template on the corners to cut and sand them to shape. We use a jig saw and a palm sander.
