I forget off the top of my head how many cut conditions are available, what is it like five or six? Having each cut condition set for each material we run was originally what I intended to do, and did for some time. But lately, it's gotten to the point where we are now running more...
I don't have any experience with Roland machines, aside from our GX-24 cutter, but I agree with everything Judi mentions with regards to the Mimaki. I also have 2.5 years of experience with our Mimaki CJV 150-130. It is a great print and cut machine and does come with Rasterlink, as well as...
I'm pretty sure U brackets are only available in 1/4"-3/4", although I could be wrong. In any case, these are not what you want to use for 3 mm (1/8") ACM.
We would typically use 6mm ACM or corugated aluminum for that type of application but 3mm is doable, I suppose. I agree with Gino on adding something to make it more rigid. In high wind areas, 3mm probably won't fair as well without some extra support added.
This is exactly how our dog is. His bark is so big that he can be scary to approach, but he just enjoys meeting new people and making new friends. He will love the crap out of anyone who shows the same level of affection towards him.
My dog doesn't get to visit the shop unless it's an off day. My wife could take him to workwith her but he's way too high strung. He's a Chocolate Lab/German Shorthair mix and he's going on seven years old now. We got him at the rescue shelter at approximately one year old. He was left abandoned...
Holy crap! No, I hadn't seen these. Not sure how I managed to overlook them. Thanks for the link. If anyone else has any other recommendations, I'd still love to hear about them, but this collection is really very nice and perfect for the design I'm working on, at the moment.
Being a sign and screen printing shop, we design a fair number of car show t-shirts throughout the year. Most of these are small town shows that don't have big design budgets. We have the Vector Art Mega Collection, Ultimate Hot Rod Art, and most of the Action Illustrated collection, as well as...
I tend to think if a company can't provide an actual vector art logo, you can only perform to the best of your abilities and Futura EB is certainly close enough, even if it's not an exact match.
This is exactly how I would do it. Although it can easily be done by one installer, I'd personally rather have two if possible, just to make things that much easier. But these are the kind of installations I do quite frequently by myself.
These are some Futura alternatives that you could try...

I think you're referring to Creative Film Corp. films. I believe they changed hands and are now Griff.

We have a Roland GX-24 Camm-1 cutter and it's been a fantastic machine, especially for an entry level machine. I can't really compare it to anything else though, as it's the only professional grade cutter I've used. My previous cutter was a Chinese hunk of crap and I upgraded to the Roland...
