  1. How many of you could leave your shop behind for at least a month and not have any issues?

It's the results from one month - I don't understand why you're having trouble understanding that. $300k revenue = jobs that were delivered and invoiced in March (and mostly sold in previous months) $600k sales = jobs that will be delivered in the coming months ($300k of that is a Watchfire...
  2. How many of you could leave your shop behind for at least a month and not have any issues?

I have a lot more than 5 people on the team... Was I supposed to give a full brief of every team member? Would you like their resumes as well? Your reply is the biggest compliment anybody could possibly give me - I've done so well that you don't think it could possibly be true. I couldn't...
  3. How many of you could leave your shop behind for at least a month and not have any issues?

I've gone from Biden's son to a crackhead Trump cronie... Is there anybody whose success you feel was earned?
  4. How many of you could leave your shop behind for at least a month and not have any issues?

I'm not sure if you're actually genuinely interested (or just looking for more reason to scoff at my work) and it's hard to narrow 5-6 years of hard work and difficult decisions down to a few paragraphs, but I'll give you the abridged version: ----- - For the first two years or so, I pissed...
  5. How many of you could leave your shop behind for at least a month and not have any issues?

I'm waiting in line for Guardians of the Galaxy at Epcot at the moment. I went and visited with our vendors, met a few new ones, and then headed out to enjoy Orlando. A good way to write off a few extra vacation days!
  6. How many of you could leave your shop behind for at least a month and not have any issues?

He's sure spending a lot of time worried about something. It's easy to remember why I left this place - 5 years have passed, but nothing has changed.
  7. How many of you could leave your shop behind for at least a month and not have any issues?

Thank you for the kind words and positive feedback! I've met many great people in this industry and I'm grateful for the opportunities it has provided in my life! Every day is different which is both exciting and nerve-wracking, but there's a light on the other side of the tunnel and I'm...
  8. How many of you could leave your shop behind for at least a month and not have any issues?

Perhaps overpaid but I am making well more than that so we're both happy (and I don't have to worry about him running off to do his own thing). My goal is to pay him as much as I can so that, 1) he has no need to look for employment anywhere else or to start his own shop, and 2) I need him to...
  9. How many of you could leave your shop behind for at least a month and not have any issues?

I didn't go back and read the comments in this thread, so my memory of you was in general, not specific to this post. My GM that runs the business is 28 years old and will clear $200k this year... So yes, I'm absolutely not needed. That is by design and absolutely intentional. If things go...
  10. How many of you could leave your shop behind for at least a month and not have any issues?

Read the numbers again and rethink your comment. I'm not saying you're dyslexic, but you got some things reversed. Also - just because we're in a rural area, doesn't mean we only service a rural area. I have a fleet of bucket trucks on the road all over our state. I don't really care if you...
  11. How many of you could leave your shop behind for at least a month and not have any issues?

Yeah, that's the guy...it's been a long time since I visited the forum. I knew Gino was going to usually end up giving me a helpful answer, but not without telling me I was a fool in the process.
  12. How many of you could leave your shop behind for at least a month and not have any issues?

Update: Wow - nearly 5 years since I made this post and the vast majority of you said it could never be done. I was thinking about this post this morning as I got ready to attend ISA down here in Orlando... I've used this post as motivation for the past 5 years to show that this can be done...
  13. Should frosted vinyl be installed on the interior or exterior side of windows on storefronts?

Question says it all...thanks for your input!
  14. 12'x6' sign without seam?

A seam in the print. We're able to source a panel that's large enough, just can't figure out how to print the sign without a seam.
  15. 12'x6' sign without seam?

Whether it's poly or aluminum, it would still have a seam in the print at that size.
  16. 12'x6' sign without seam?

We have a client who wants a 12'W x 6'H sign without any seams. I'm able to source an aluminum panel this size from Harbor, but our 63" printer isn't large enough to do it without a seam. I've checked with all of our trade printers and none of them are able to provide/ship panels this large...
  17. Gold metallic vinyl that is translucent (for backlighting)?

This is exactly what I was looking for...thank you!!
  18. Gold metallic vinyl that is translucent (for backlighting)?

No, I'm not planning to print either layer. The Navy Blue won't be translucent though, we only want the gold layer to show light through it. Good catch on the cast vs. calendared part as well, I definitely misspoke there. Thanks for your help Gino.
  19. Gold metallic vinyl that is translucent (for backlighting)?

Typically our translucent signs are printed so I don't have a suitable color chart for translucent vinyl. What kind of cast vinyl would you typically use in your shop that is translucent?
