hope you get it worked out. not sure if it's just your area or what but anytime we have ad an issue with our rolands. someone has always gotten back to us. we have always told them we can't have our machines down for days. never had the problem you are having and we don't really print stuff that...
glad it worked out. also i don't remember but what type of printer are you using to print the nameplates before doming?
(also glad i could help, the majority of the time it's me looking for help...haha)
when you use the vinyl coated brushed you can have issues. try to get the polyester/mylar brushed. we have used both most of the time they were fine but when we did have issues it was with the vinyl coated (like r-tape and the only problem we did have was a couple of times some pieces...
we had that with a set of magnets we made for our own van. like already posted it has to do with the maintenance. you need to remove and clean under the magnets periodically. make sure everything is clean and dry when you put them back. i bet most guys go to the car wash, take them off and just...
And why is he shopping if he's been having his trailers done by the same place every two years?
because the last guy got sick of his attitude and priced it really high so he would go somewhere else or be paid for the aggravation.
yes just tape down the across the top and then roll from the bottom up. start removing the release liner and just squeegee down, unroll as you go. i do it with 30" x 72" prints on vending/soda machines

repeat after me folks...RECALL....
so i guess they build cars not expecting them to last that long? i have a Hyundai Tuscon as my work car and it's at 254,998 right now so in another year or so i wonder what mine will do. maybe i should give them a call
we have been using roland printer/cutters for the last 10 or so years and no major problems. easy to use and and the quality is good. i would see what printers are available from close vendors and start your search there. this way you know you have tech support that isn't far away.
turned out the job was a union job and they had to find a union shop. not sure what happened so i ended up not getting it and didn't have to pursue the material
we have the same problem with our gerber plotter. it's 13 yrs old and owes me nothing so i just use it for the re-run jobs that it can still cut correctly. as for your question, i would think as long as you can import/incorporate the register marks your summa needs to cut a job in to your gerber...
having a brain malfunction. we print our color charts on our regular materials for all our roland machines and when we first got our xr we printed the metallic color chart. i now need to do it again and for the life of me i can't remember how to do it. i loaded the chart file in to the que...
sounds like you need to do a versa works update for the profile update. we use GBV- glossy banner vinyl and it works ok. i have also used the glossy or matte calendered vinyl profiles those both work ok on banner material. just make sure you flip the print head switch to raise it so you don't...
