Stupid question time. Does 3m IJ40c have the same adhesive as IJ180c? I know the vinyls are very different, but as far as the adhesive goes, are they similar? does the IJ40c have the same removability, repositionability etc?

what is the intended lifespan of the graphics? we have a supplier here that sells a polyester optically clear for a good price, but it's only rated 6-12 months

I don't think it's going to be possible to fix that without it looking like it's been repaired. I would think with all the labour involved to POSSIBLY fix it, they would be better off getting a new sign, that's what insurance is for right!

Adhesive backed paper is a bit of a specialty item in the digital print world, where as there is no shortage of shops looking for vinyl, therefore paper will cost more to produce as it is less popular, therefore smaller runs. If you want as cheap as possible, sub it out and add a markup.

See if fellers will price match the original supplier, maybe order a few other things you need from them to sweeten the deal if needed.

Too high compared to what? Last time I checked the roland media is about on par price wise with an econo vinyl. It's an uncommon media so the price is what it is.. Alternately you could mount a d/s mounting adhesive to any paper you like.

yeah I use it mostly for nesting pipe markers on the gerber edge, I can lay them out in corel, group them by colour and nest into a 11.8" wide area.
