I'd check into signs2trade. Figure out the overall size needed to print 50 3" x 5" decals, find a single decal price within that range and have them contour cut the 3" x 5" within that size.
Saying this was over my head was an insult as all I was doing was looking for where the facts of this came from. We all know customers lie so if the customer said it was three months, it could have been more like three weeks, who knows. The other shop's first e-mail concerning this job was dated...
MUSTANG font anyone ?
see if this helps. I did a search on bing and found this from back in 2011. the OP seemed happy with the link in it so it might help you.
We are in an industrial/business area and two other sign shops moved in. I can see one of them out window they are so close. You would think that would be a bad thing but nothing really has changed as the tire kickers stick to the strip malls.
You can't answer the simple question of how do you know it was three months. The other company said the first March 16th e-mail referred to this job in his second e-mail. No where but from you does the three month lag time come into play. How do you know that is true? Who told you it was three...
You claim three months as that is what the customer told you. Customer's lie. The other sign shop was in the process of getting info for the quote on March 16th as that is what you implied in your posts. I don't know anything but what you've told us and was just asking where this there month...
I was asking you all of this. How do you know it was three months? You said that e-mail on March 16th was about this job, not me. You know what, I really don't give a sh*t.
You wouldn't know why or what job from the March 16th e-mail but in that e-mail he was gathering info for a quote for this job. Since he was gathering info for a quote, in March, it would seem that is when he quoted the job to the customer, got the OK to proceed and the deposit check. That is...
The guy did respond as you said in your first post. He told the customer he was having printer problems so at that point, he responded and it looks like the customer was OK with that or he would have cancelled the job. The bad mouthing was you saying "WOW". The low balling was knowing what he...
This wasn't at the start of the customer's search for a quote, it was after he contracted with another company. Going in, bad mouthing the other company, low balling his quote and then taking the job from him doesn't sound like it is the other guy who gives signs a bad name to me.
