You would need to fab the can from flat sheet, or find a shop with a 5 axis water jet or laser to work with the existing shape.
Looks like a fun project.
Hmmm...I didn't think of it being a mouse replacement. Although I would want it to work like brushes and so forth in Ps. Personally I'm going to get an iPad and use that with my Mac. Should do everything I need it to do.
In the past I've explained why their file won't work then offer to fix it. Fixing starts at $100 first click then shop rate afterwards. Absolutely incredible the speed they manage to produce a good working file.:D
Depends on what you need the printer to do. Extremely small text, crisp graphics, high production, hit Pantone colors consistently, accurate panel lengths, have repair panels match..?
Interior or exterior? For interior window graphics we use Big Fish's micro-dot. Just can't run full bleed graphics.
Depending on ink coverage you could do static cling for exterior windows. Just apply second surface. We did this for a client so he could change his own graphics.

Stacey K is on point.
Many years ago we used to letter all the vans for a plumbing company. Owner said time is money and each van was worth $900 a day in his pocket. We worked out a plan to keep him happy. He would pull the van into the shop and as he sat in the drivers seat I would hand him...
Interesting... All I can offer is we did a color change on a boat that the client had prepped. He had filled in the hull imperfections then wet sanded everything smooth with 600 grit which left a matte finish. After wiping the hull with 91% IPA we installed 3M 2080. Initial tack was great...
Tried searching and only found that VHB won't stick to some paints. Wondering if there is a go to VHB or use tape and Lexel?
I'm putting up flat mount Sintra letters in an office. Hate to have them "air freight" off the wall a couple days after installation.
Tension knob would be the one in line with the roll of laminate. Small black knob would be the one you want.
Sled: Wide piece of scrap material with one square edge. I use 3mm foam pvc(Sintra) 1200mm x 200mm the size of my sled.
You push the sled against the laminate as you feed it between...
Tad more feed tension and the laminate needs to be loaded square. Also use a sled when you do the initial web up. My sled is a mill end(48"x10") of 3mm foam pvc. Basically you get the laminate close to the nip point of the lower roller then use the sled to "grab" that edge and get square to...
I would agree with the chemical being used on wraps with liquid laminate. As far as stripping off the remaining glue...probably a hot water/steam pressure washer.
I'd like to see the trailer up close after pressure washing though. As thin as that aluminum is I can't believe they're not...
Again, talk to a window tint professional. A friend of mine did it for a living until he became a YouTuber. I learned a lot about the do's and dont's and why the pro's use specific formulas to mitigate risk.
Way back when he bid a job for a high school library. Huge walls made up of glass...
