    Using Flexi 8.x as a design tool and ONYX or Caldera as a RIP is possible, but not as seamless as using Flexi for both. Everyone has their favorite (or least favorite) RIP and opinions will vary.

    Being an XP user, it may be a little easier to transition to Windows 7 than Windows 8. 99% of the computers that we build for our sign shop customers are Windows 7.

    No, you don't need a 64 Bit version of Flexi, but you will need a version compatible with 64 Bit Windows. We have tested and anything older than 8.5 is questionable on a 64 Bit system. It has really been hit or miss with anything older. As Techman said, with 8.5 and 8.6, you will need a 64...
