FYI for anyone interested ---- the decal is still on my car after ~9 days .... no peeling edges or anything like that. It's been dry and dusty (and a little smokey) here in Southern Cal, and this morning there was finally a nice layer of dew on the vehicle when I woke up. Edges still look great...

So after almost 2 years of being a member of this forum and becoming more and more familiar with the various "regulars" this is the first time that I've ever really noticed Gino's avatar.... I'd never taken the time to look at it up close until just now.
Gino: I have newfound respect for you...
Starting around 1:45 there are some good close-ups where you can see that it does shine through pretty well even where it's printed (the red text / black stripes).
The black definitely negates the holographic effect but any lighter colors still allow the effect to shine through. But, yes, generally speaking this material has a greater effect when negative space is smartly utilized! Not meant for 100% coverage for sure.

We've seen this on occasion on those printers. When doing the initial media width test make sure the width is never more than 1.5" shorter than the media. (i.e. in this case ensure that it is greater than 52.5").
Also, in the machine settings try turning OFF "cut detect" as the sensors can...
