I was planning on running it on the Latex. We have the solvent printer available as well to run the job on.
Actually...this one person I am speaking with on the phone has been very helpful, though the bearer of bad news. The tech who was here on site a couple months ago was Very good and I...
Need to let this one fly: Startup my 850 monday morning....have an error message. Turns out its telling me the secondary ink bladder broke...needs to be replaced. Ok, HP should have the part available....simple enough thought. Get on phone with support....give them all the info..etc...Part...
Guide Pins....if looking for a TRUE flatbed would be nice but are not the end all. We have a hybrid QS from EFI....we're used to the way it runs our boards and happy with the overall results.
Get a place that has a color laser printer/copier to run your flyers for you and stick with a B&W laser for in house unless you really need color to show clients stuff. You already have the 30 in printer....
My personal fav is a Brother MFD. Been reliable for going on 7 years now.
Only thing I could laugh about was I didnt have to go searching for it......it was attached to the trailer, right where I left it. Its a boat...a hobby...MY Xanex for this crazy industry...so Im keeping things in perspective about how other people lost a lot more.
We used the Acrylic Clearshield on a latex print...it left some color on the roller we noticed. Not sure how the Solvent version would work....call Clearshield in S. Carolina and Im sure they would gladly answer for you. They would also be happy to send some small bottles as well for you to...
Yup...we're good. Families are all ok most importantly.! My 3yo daughter was creatively playing with battery operated candles and her toys in the dark during the storm.
That glass that broke is actually a Quartz filter and pretty important to proper curing. First of all that should be replaced properly.
I would suggest calling EFI/Vutek support on the phone and speaking to them about it. Speak to Alejandro about settings on the Mobos I think. Could have an...
We're In Linden here....close to some badly flooded areas. Power substations got flooded and we were personally without power for 4 days. Some areas of town still down with no power....going on a week for them.
Luckily, all of our families are OK. Homes are good and the biz didnt loose a...
We had a rep from Sericol profiling our Solvent printers at one time and enlisted his help in profiling our QS as well. They really didnt seem to help. Even running coro in a 4 color mode vs 6 color...CMYKLcLm...we still get lawnmower effect especially in darker colors.
We have the same issues with our QS 2000 from EFI. Lawnmower effect...whatever you want to call it. The only way to get rid of it is tighten the interlace....go from a 4 pass to a 6 pass essentially. We have done everything in order to try to lessen or eliminate it....with no luck.
I personally use Fuji Sericol in my 2 solvent printers...one being an Eco Solv XC 540 from Roland and the other being a Vutek 3360 6 color 3meter printer. I have had excellent results with the Vutek printer. They have that down pat.
The Roland has been very good...BUT they did have some issues...
