Other option would have been to use...mind drawing blank here....adhesive backed fabric..lol. Thats great on walls and other interiors items. ON a door though with the handling of it, not sure it would have worked well for cleanliness long term.
Yes its normal....use higher quality cast vinyl.....3m, Avery or Oracal cast would be the answer.
Talking about doors....Vehicle doors or doors in a building???
Thanks for the heads up....I actually emailed Mimaki Support about it and they emailed back its not out yet as well. Using CS 5 along with CS 6 right now....
With Vuteks....they purge ink thru the heads. On our QS there is a capping station that actually sucks the waste ink off the surface of the printhead and extracts any residue from the heads. Sometimes a hand wipe is necessary to maintain the heads as well.
I think tyvek is more expensive than even a cheap mesh material.....is tyvek recyclable?? I know you can also go with woven PE and I believe that can be heat sealed or sewn on the perimeter. That is recyclable for sure.
I feel bad...the nice guy who had been delivering for past few weeks from the PA branch...havent seen him in a while. Everything has been a "messenger Service" when delivered. Not on their own vehicles.
Im disappointed in that personally...but it is biz. I wish or hope they kept him on in...
According to AMEX...A client can pull the funds even if they simply are not happy with the job. There are soo many reasons they can take the funds back from you....and amex will not stand up for you unless the client signed over their first born to you. I have to take a client to court for...
From what I see...the p10 320 is a great machine for a higher volume job environment. Its build mechanically very well and made to last the long haul.
The 850....which we have is great for moderate volume shops like mine. We dont beat up on equipment and take care of our stuff and that suits...
According to the field techs from EFI....getting rid of the smiley causes other problems. The feed bar is actually 2.875 OD Stainless with an air bladder in it...similar to most large format printers like HP and others. It can bend with heavy rolls especially 2.8-3.2 meter...
EFI calls it the Smiley Face....and thats a crock of BS. We have had a QS for a number of years and like you have the same issues with long runs of vinyl. Thats why we have roll-to-roll printers for a majority of our jobs.
Even using the front takeups does not help with our experience...
Thanks! We used 18oz blockout hemmed AND webbed with grommets on all sides. Ran on our 10 ft Latex in 8 pass mode. Took a full day to print but worth it!
May have to try and take my Daughter to see the Fishies now though!! Got closer pics now!! YAY!!
