i get that when i have to much tension on our takeup reel and the dryer side of the printer is to hot. Try and lower the dryer heat on the printer or dont let your takup reel pull on the material.
Thank y'all for the input. I figured it was custom but was just hoping for the best. I can rebuild it no problem, I just didn't want to spend much time on it due to the budget allotted.
The wrap is coming apart on rear bumper and they want to rewrap it. The original company is now out of business so there is no way to get the files.
If you have seen this green lightning anywhere let me know please.
I looked at aurora and they have one that is close but not it.
LOL you mean the race car guys are not letting you design it for free just so you can get your name on the side of their car!!!
Race cars will suck the life out of you. Run while you still have the energy.
As far as your pricing, it seems on the low side.
Contact me please. I would like to...
I am usually good at finding fonts, but this one is killin me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I know the S but cant find what font is used in Protective.
We use a ton of Avery 1005 and I prefer it over 3m, oracal, and others. We use oracal 3951 profiles on the avery. I did have to tweak the profiles a little (ink load was a bit heavy for avery). Avery might have done people wrong in the past but they have taken care of us. I have only had a few...
All we use is Avery wrap film. I have tested 3M and Oracal and the initial tack is brutal. We found with Avery that you MUST heat set after its installed. We have used it for over 5 years and the only comebacks we get are from getting in a hurry and not heat setting it.
I just replaced several the other day, exact same look as yours Gino.
I fixed some with a heat gun on my metal door. I thought it was something we did. Glad to know others are having the same issue. I just got a new roll in and will have to keep an eye on the ones that leave using it.
Also check the drain lines and flush them.
IMO sometimes air pressure changes can cause this. Our printer does it from time to time during big air pressure fluctuations.
Get the Gerber USB cable or buy a parallel pci card and install it in the computer. The add on cards are cheap and then any old school printer cable will run the Edge LE or 2. Not sure how the FX connects, never had one of those.
They need to take it to a bodyshop. At the very minimum it needs to be filled, sanded smooth, and primed with a professional 2K Urethane or Epoxy primer. At this point you might as well paint the part. All the hard work is done.
Long and short of it. Wrapping the part isn't going to fix it...
All we use is 1005ez rs. Initial tack is low and easy to apply. Tried Oracal, 3M, Arlon, etc. All seem to have a more aggressive initial tack. We heat set / polish the whole wrap before it leaves. I love the stuff.
Yep. Removed a wrap on a smart. I think the installer dipped the whole car in 94. Literally every square inch had primer. Took 2 people 4 days to clean up that mess.
