Latex 110. I've used a 110, 360, 2 different 560s and a 570. I love latex, it has its issues... But so does every ms gone / technology.
Heat may play a bit of a roll... But I don't think that's the main issue. Whether it's the omas or feeding system or something else I can't say... But I've...
Any reason your trying to cut through onyx and with the graphtec production manager? I'm presuming youre running onyx 19+ since you have the FC9000 in it.
Onyx and CM4 dont play well together. Half the time if I have CM4 open... onyx wont cut, and if I have onyx open.. CM4 wont cut. So...
Is it really the heat that causes length issues though?
I feel like the media sensor in the latex printers is garbage. We can print on diamond grade, and there's no way in hell that media is shrinking or stretching... And an 8 ft print can be 95.5", and then in the next load it can be 96.5"...
If you sell someone a non removable, cheap vinyl and they put it on their Ps5 and ruin it... you're not going to have a good time!
You cant just use any vinyl. even 180... The big manufacturers have a special vinyl and work directly with 3M to produce ones that work, AFAIK It's not for sale to...
Click layers and make sure you have all your layers checked. Usually it does that when one is turned off... It'll display everything then when it loads the program it'll turn the previously checked layer off.
Biggest tip since I didn't see anyone else mention it...
Full panels are less forgiving. If your first 10 FT panel goes on even slightly crooked... Then the rest of your panels go on slight crooked as well, then when you get to your 5th panel...you have a big white gap at the top. We spend...
As mentioned, rapid heat change is the issue. If its warm outside and your removing the vinyl from the inside you should be ok. If its cold outside and your removing it... thats when the issue starts to happen.
Make sure you spread the heat evenly... IE dont just warm up the spot your...
Just as a demonstration... I made a file with 4 squares. 1 is 100% Cyan, 100% Black, 100% yellow, 100% Magenta. I have 2 different printers... both are profiled, one is a Latex the other an epson. When they get ripped...these are the CMYK Valued each printer wants to use.
(Listed in C, M, Y...
Do you have multiple printers? you should rip it in both and watch the CMYK values be different from each machine! It's infuriating... but working as intended.
When your machine uses a profile... it takes the files CMYK values, then converts them to what it thinks your machine needs to print...
Our production staff has been a bit short for the past year due to people leaving and us becoming busier. We've been taking on bigger and bigger projects that require a ton of people to do... I think we had about 7 temps for 4 months straight last year, a 2 month break inbetween then another 4...
You cant just blame Biden for it though. Canada is doing the same thing, as are other countries whi got hit by covid a lot. The alternative ef mass homelessness would not only cost more, but would destroy the economy.
We have about a dozen people who come work for us whenever were busy on...
Arent non ore cut materials cheaper by like a factor of 10? When I looked into an afinia I couldn't produce labels for cheaper than I could outsource them because ore cuts were so expensive.
Bulk labels are so cheap via offset pricing you can't even compete. I'd say digital label makers fall...
Putnam fee layers of masking tape on where you're cutting and make sure it's tight. In a pinch we use a sharp fine tooth blade... It works but it'll never be as good as a high end cutter. We try not to do it on printable media because it can sometimes leave a jagged edge, and last thing you...
Official graphtec blades for thicker materials... Then clean-cut blades for normal vinyl cutting .. and cheap Chinese blades for perf cutting since cutting through paper dulls a $50 blade just as fast as a .50 blade.
How much money are you making with that $25 blade? I just did 6 rolls of 30" reflective without needing to change the blade.... About $7000 in Proffitt.... And likely won't need to change it for weeks. For me ... That's cheap, especially when you compare it to the income it brings in...
Nice, good to hear! I may toy around with it for my complex shapes. I never really cared about speed much because 99% of my cutting these days is at home, so I just set it to cut and watch TV... but being more efficient never hurts.
Is this usd? I just paid 10k Canadian for an s6060 from Grimco that was a demo unit... Came with warranty and everything.
It's a great printer, I love it and use it more than my 560. It's a bit slower... But not having to warm up makes up for the slower speed. Plus it prints 30" twice as fast...
People have been telling me that for the past 20 years. I just paid 750,00 for a townhouse 2 years ago. The one next to me just sold for 850,000. To buy a house.... Even a crack house fixer upper is a million plus.
And I'm about 40 minutes away from Vancouver in a suburb. Vancouver is...
Speed is kind of useless on non straight shapes. When it goes around curves / corners the speed drops to regular... It only helps when it's moving or cutting a straight line. Don't get me wrong...speed isnt bad, but I cut everything at 20-30 and I dont notice a difference in how long it takes...
