WTF by jsmoritz2000 posted Aug 16, 2017 at 12:44 PM I've tried Find My Font, WhatFontIs, and WhatTheFont to no avail. Can anyone help me identify the lettering and the ampersand? Thank you, in advance.

  3. Suggestions Need a suggestion on making a foamcore display

Would something like this 2-way corner joiner moulding work? Outwater Plastics - 2016 Master Catalog - page A-29 There are a LOT more corner moulding options if you peruse through a few more pages of the catalog.
  4. Grommets vs Eyelets

I'm having trouble finding any information about these one piece eyelets, but if they're anything like leather/fabric eyelets, I'd assume they crimp on the back side of the banner. If that's the case, I'd also presume that the sharp edges on the back of the eyelets would tear into the scrim...
  5. Suggestions Roland BN20 and Mimaki CJV150-75 Same Price. Which Would You Buy?

For "stickers and labels", I wouldn't be so sure about that. Laminating or not laminating could depend on how his product is being used. Just sayin'.
  6. Cut Work Table or Rollsroller?

We use a RollsRoller 280/145 table here for laminating prints, mounting prints to substrate, and masking and applying cut vinyl. We're very happy with it. Haven't had a chance to get our hands on a CWT.
  7. Vinyl by the yard

We've ordered by the yard from Fellers' Chicago branch on several occasions and we always get the exact yardage that we order, not an inch more, not an inch less.
  8. Markup/Pricing - Flyers, Business Cards, Vinyl Banners, Calendars ETC...

When we price digital and offset items, we always compare online retailers (including Vistaprint) just to get an idea how much we can mark up a certain item. If you do a 100% markup, you're definitely leaving money on the table in most cases, but not always. Typically, we can charge anywhere...
  9. Does Anyone Know The Pros And Cons Of Mimaki Cjv150 And Cjv300 Series?

I wonder if there's a setting that's off on our machine then. Ours goes through one cartridge about every three months tops. Probably less time than that. Ours was a demo unit from our supplier, so I wonder if they perhaps changed the default settings?
  10. Not very happy with Corel X-8

I switched from X5 to X7 a couple years ago and I have the same problem with X7, although I will say that it only happens maybe once a week. I get the "Corel Draw has stopped working" error, or something to that effect. Another annoying anomaly is that occassionally my tabs won't close out. I...
  11. Cut vinyl SUBSTANCE motocross

We cut 6 mil Convex with 12 mil laminate on our Mimaki CJV 150-130 with a 45 degree blade with no problems at all. Not sure what kind of pressure I'm using as I haven't cut any in a while, but I've got a job coming up this week to cut and I'm sure it won't disappoint.
  12. Applying graphics to 4x8 sheet by ones self

We used to struggle with mounting 4x8 prints in much the same way. We tried a regular felt squeegee, Big Squeegee, Aluminum Big Squeegee, application tape over the print, no application tape over the print. What a headache. Now we have a RollsRoller and all the stress of mounting by hand went...
  13. Question What's on your desk?

Just the usual necessities on my desk. Stapler, calculator, stack of work orders, computer, cell phone, office phone, tape measure, calipers, precision ruler, post it notes, ink pen, FireSprint coaster, and a giant eraser that says "for BIG mistakes". Besides the eraser, the only item that may...
