when i bevel with Photoshop it does that if you take it all the way... so if i use the effect and don't draw like shovel said, i only bevel around the edges. i attached a pic from the net, it has a bevel profile called ring that gives it a "shiny" look

i'm amazed that our small town has 4 sign shops. i had tried being in biz here 10years ago and there was only one other shop. i failed because i was in a rock band at the time and didn't put enough effort in.

so with the newer flexi you have to be connected to the internet to run it?

i think i damaged the damper or it was defective? i first tried to use the old magenta damper that i removed... it did help... maybe i didn't give it enough time? so i took the old yellow damper that still had yellow ink in it and put it in the magentas place and bam it printed all nozzle...

update.... its back working . a big thanks to bradster and autografxx. both of you guys really helped me. autographxx is from a neighboring town and called me personally to walk me thru some stuff... outstanding!!

hey brad i took the magenta damper loose and no drips yet.... how long should i wait? only been about 15 mins right now

i'll get you a pic of the nozzle check tomorrow... and test that damper dripping.

on an nozzle check after cleaning i have all back except for a few magenta nozzles.... but every nozzle check its different ones that are missing from the magenta? like some are good one minute bad the next....

bradster... where would i look for the ink drip? out og the bottom of the head? or the magenta feed line?

help update i took a piece of tube and closed off the blk and cyan nipples .. and then pulled ink after the pump. pulled magenta a lot of it.... did a test print and the space for magenta still blank but print magenta instead of blk. did a cleaning and got all colors back but magenta...

i'm going home!!! it looks like i can pull thru with the syringe because there is a stain of the magenta on the top of capping station pad. i also tried the soak thing and there was a magenta stain there as well on the rag. and with 1 hour soak rewetting rag every 15-20min it seemed to...

alright checked the seal to the best of my knowledge but didn't seem to help... put in the old damper. pulled ink and cleaned got this first print in the pic with a streaky magenta.... pulled again it got worse pulled again... and then no magenta. after these prints i pulled ink...

nozzle check no mag and blk is gone now too have cyan yellow lt cyan and lt magenta .... i retightened the brass nuts over the o rings and some mag and blk are coming back

yes i did use a syringe to pull ink ... started at the tubes from the pumps then realized several dampers were not filling... so i pulled it to the dampers. removed the hose from damper and pulled it. so all dampers have ink about half full. if i pull from pump waste tube sides .. the blk...

i replace all these parts ... filled the dampers.. all colors are print except magenta. i've soak the heads for about 45 min per randya other post. with lint free rag and cleaning fluid. but its not coming back help

why would someone give away one cartridge? i might be wary of using it .... a new one ain't too expensive. his could be years old?

thanks bradster... if its the wrong voltage how do you adjust?
